    exactly right. Why do you think I don't post much. 90% of the time it's ignored and the other 10% is a vague answer. For some reason keeping people updated on progress is not a TW ability although tons of other companies do it. If you do it then you get the TW lovers blasting you, or a certain moderator (starts with an O) that will swear and threaten to ban you, so why waste the time. Just sit back, relax and count the days till the game is done and the real warriors, the modders, can fix the game

    You got a list of all these brave warriors read to jump on? Modders for most parts just regular gamers that happen to know how to mod. When they grow bored of a game, loose interest etc they start play something else and mod. Seen how many mods like BG3 and Starfield got lately on Nexus? Those that make mods for Bannerlord today is not necessary the ones that made mods for the game 2 years ago. The amount of mods that doesn't get updated reflect that, just as well the number of mods that show up new/updated on Nexus weekly.

    Watching people play Starfield and notice bugs you found even back in F3, Skyrim and F4... Their creation engine working as intended... In that regard I don't think TW is any better or worse than other studios out there. They SHOULD all strive to deliver their best regardless though -)

    Yeah, we want a battle with 1000 actors in turn based combat mode. That would be awesome right? Just because Larian is good at make RPG like DOS series and now BG3 doesn't make them awesome at make games like Bannerlord. Both Larian and TW is independent and doesn't answer to overlords that want micro transactions and bollocks like that, so that is a good thing...

    Resolved Crafting fine, masterwork or legendary weapons lose their plus values after loading.

    On that 'point', how much do Javs sell for these days? I bet with the amount a few 2 handers still sell for though you can now retire as a hermit on top of a mountain for the rest of your days. As the games economy is still practically undermined by one skill you might do better to retire 'early' because at the rate they keep adding things to 'improve' things such as the economy, they break more things, and fundamentally flawed concepts existed go unaddressed.

    I even heard talk of DLC...

    Unless the crafter got the skills to churn out Masterwork and Legendary weapons it doesn't mean much at all. Just because you unoock all parts and can bang out some nice recipes it mean little if the crafter is low skilled and chrun out rusty quality weapons.

    What decide who outrank who when take over a siege? If you a vassal and a tier 6 clan. It would feel strange if some lower clan roll in and take over?

    Two issues with 1.2
    I cant recruit clans that became independent. Five clans just died in a week after the fall of the last city.
    Clan tier 5. When I buy my 6th workshop, the game crashes.

    Sort of a work around is to capture clan leaders before their last fief is lost and then recruit the ones you want. But yes, it blows you can't recruit faction less clans before they pick up and vanish from the game.

    I think the game needs improvement to the campaign AI first and foremost, and then any depth to the diplomacy system / things to do when NOT at war would be a welcome breath of fresh air. As it's been mentioned already, the pace goes too quickly from a complete nobody to high tier vassal/king conquering everything left and right with nothing but wars in between.
    Better voting systems (including ways to influence the votes, be it by bribing with money, promises of future assistance, giving away a fief, giving away influence points, arranging a marriage), better politics, intrigue... so much could be done and expanded upon the existing skin and bones frame...

    Kinda funny, it seems if CK3 had the fights of Bannerlord, it would be the perfect game for everyone that complain about what Bannerlord lack for them. Maybe just play CK3? Tbh, I play the game for the fights, battles etc. Adding a lot of other trivial stuff on the side that would end up like mandatory management of annoyance would make the game less fun imho.

    In Progress Cannot convince clans to join my Kingdom after their destruction

    Did happen in my game too. Thought I had ample time, but then another faction snagged their two last castles in short order. None of the clans can be asked to join after the destruction of their faction. I seen some join other factions by themselves though.

    Devs kinda in the you are damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. You can say you are working on something for the future with raise expectations that come back and bite you in the bum later when people not getting it exactly as they want. They can just say no and let people down right off the bat. Or, sometimes its better to not say anything at all..

    is it intended that if you release a wanderer via "i do not need your skills anymore" that they disappear ?

    also a 2 partyleaders quit my service cause i showed mercy to towns and they were cruel

    Wanderers take off when you dismiss them. You can't rehire them later.

    Never mix parties in an army where some party leaders got cruel and other got mercy traits. If you capture a fief and select mercy, you will loose a lot of standing with the ones having cruel traits. (and the other way around if you choose pillage option). Standing drop to low and they will dislike you and leave. There is no easy way to gain standing with a companion, you can sort of fix it with other clan characters though.

    1.2 beta. Smithing progress to fast?

    Good, current system is cancer, wait in town for years speed clicking in the highly unfun smiting menu for hours so you can have enough materials to build a few swords. It's the worst smiting system of any game I have ever played, it's just a time wasting click fest.
    So if it's to fast now, great, what's the problem?

    Value of weapons you smith is now locked to the prefix of the weapons. So even you have the most superior recipe (whatever). It doesn't matter unless you have a good smith that can bang out a masterwork, legendary etc. Because a rusty or dull blade, doesn't bring in the big bucks.. So faster unlock of parts doesn't really make you progress fast to make big money from smithing. -)

    In Progress Can't assign companions as governor

    Have the same issue with companions that I can't assign them to being a governor/take a party role.

    From some testing I think it's not clearing the captured flag on the companion if you summon them back to your party directly using the Clan screen rather than travelling to the town they respawn in - as the kingdom I'm in is in constant war, I'd summoned three companions back to the party instead of travelling to the towns to pick them up, these three companions didn't show up for governor or party roles.

    I then used the leave party member in town button in a town, left, and re-entered the town. Upon re-entering the town, I got the message about "Companion who was separated from you in battle is here in town" as you would normally get first time entering the town if you'd not seen the companion since they were captured, and upon taking them back into my party, I was then able to assign them as governor/party role.

    This might be a bug, care to elaborate a bit on how, when, and what exactly is this happening?

    It's been posted about in the bug section several times.. The response always been it work as intended. Apparently when you are joining a fight as a 3rd party or any fight where you are not the one that initiate the fight. You are not supposed to have formations you want. You are not supposed to have captains you want, and banners doesn't mean anything.. That it worked before (like after captains and banners was introduced) apparently doesn't mean anything at all.

    Someone on Reddit mentioned the same thing. Must be a bug, you should file a report.

    It seems like the "promises" perk also applies for bandit prisoners in your party. With enough bandit prisoners, no need for food....

    Something very weird going on with the "promises" perk in Roguery. I have like 230 units in party, with 10-20 or so bandits and now I never run out of food, actually my entire party is not consuming any food what so ever.

    Is there a way to fix my troops and captains to assigned squads. They keep altering when i join armies.

    It seems like TW doesn't want you to use formation setup, captains and banners when you are not the one that initiate a fight, go figure...

    Resolved Battle orders not working right

    I've been informed that this is intended.

    Why? What is the reason?

    1. Formations you have created and used prior doesn't matter. You end up with 3 basic formations with units mashed up.
    2. banners and captains doesn't matter because they are not assigned correctly to formations.

    If we get rushed into a battle with formations we used before without any pre-battle setup, that would be fair IF we actually get pushed into battle in previous used setup. I don't want to get rushed into fights with horse archers and cav in same formation. I don't want to get rushed into fights with companions on horses stuck in a infantry formation. Or have ranged units mixed with infantry.

    What is the purpose of have formations, captains and banners in the game when you can't make use of them a large part of the game?

    This woirked perfectly fine before

    @Duh_TaleWorlds was looking into this but so far didn't come back with any. Is this a case of one hand doesn't know what the other does?

    I had the illusion of this would be fixed with 1.2 but this just *sadface panda*

    Mixed bag, I have smelted thousands of items and have maybe just the level 2 1H swords parts in contrast polearm, 2H Axe, and 2H sword unlock rediculously fast, while daggers, 1h axe, 1h sword, 2h blunt all unlock dreadfully slow.

    For daggers and axes best result is to buy them from market and break down until you can get to tier 2 parts, then smith and break down your own afaik. Same with maces.

    Well, it is very possible that someone is born with mental tendencies towards cruelty, eg. sociopathy.
    True, but there is trait combos you certainly do not come out of the womb with, but is a taught/learned thing. Here is your new child, he seems to be "Honorable, But Stiff-Necked And Cruel".... right?
