    I quoted your answer in my post. Very interresting that there is a parameter that tweaks when in an animation the collision starts. Would be nice if it would also ignore shields. they could of course also tweak animations so that a parameter like this isn't necessary.
    yes if they also simply reduce the exagerated animation it would indeed fix this issue. they'd also have to do it for thrust as well though as literally none of the animations work well in formation

    Now about your attacks being blocked, I have noticed this issue too and it's bugged me since release. I've spent a lot of time trying to fix this but no luck. I left a comment on my mod page that explains why this issue happens. It is not a problem with the animation, but with the weapon's collision (where in the animation the collision starts and where it stops). Ideally, in the swing/thrust animation, the collision should start when you swing/thrust reaches the front of your body. It should not start at the very start of your swing (which is behind your head). However, after this problem has been solved, the animation could indeed be improved too so as to not swing through your allies heads when in formation. ideally it should start somewhere above your head. For more detailed explanation of why this issue happens, read my comment on my mod page, it is explained there.

    Yeah I had the same issue. However, when this happens, simply save, leave game, come back in, and it will be back to normal. You shouldn't have to revert back to a previous save.

    Hey man, dunno if you saw my comment and wrote this or found out yourself, but I talked about this in the exact same way in my mod's comments, check it out: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/495?tab=posts . This problem is quite a big one in my opinion and doesn't look too hard to solve for Taleworlds (then again I'm not a developer so what would I know if it's hard or not).
