    Hi Sule,

    No worries, lots of improvement has gone into the game.

    As far as I can see yes the couching lance problem still exists - the highest tier is 3 I believe which does not make sense at all.

    For Blacksmithing, yes it still takes too long and stamina is used up way too fast.

    Take it easy - at least we got an update that they are still working on it.

    Keep in mind that the game is not finished - therefore it can happen that issues like this crop up.

    And it is even more of an issue when a problem like this is not consistent for all players...

    Apparently not everyone is experiencing this. A buddy of mine has absolutely no issues and his rig is not as strong as mine.

    I still managed to play a bit but honestly got too bugged with this situation. I actually ended up stopping completely as it is ruining the game.

    Just to add in on the lag issues:
    I am experiencing it throughout all the game, that is menus, troops and on the map.
    The weirdest experience has been that during a tournament the characters spawned but without their skin - not even weapons. Not sure if it is related but happened just after it lagged.

Now I'm around end mid-game and the Northern Empire has like... 3-4 different mercenary clans with them?(Embers, Forest, Jawwal & another one)
    I went to check in the encyclopedia and all mercenary clans literally have NO friends, so I thought to myself: "Well I could at least try to wipe one of them off my map".
    I made a seperate save, executed one. Around 15 minutes later I went to look the Northern Empire Lords & Vassals, 70% of them are at -60, 20% of them are at -40, the rest was between -20 & -10. And all the mercenary Clans wanted my head.

    So I just reloaded and didn't do it. :fruity: I wish the penalty wasn't THAT harsh. Like, I get that it should drop, but when it says they have no friends at all, my relation shouldn't have to drop in the entire Empire. I don't know, what do you think?

    Unfortunately I forgot to create a separate save - I was getting annoyed with the armies attacking me every 2 mins, literally lords spawning with upgraded units instantly... So I just started chopping immediately.

    Technically the penalty should be only with the family and lords within the same realm, otherwise just be friends with everyone and continuous peace all year round lol

    Well she should not attack, she would just be annoyed at you.

    Relation can be increased by voting in her favour of her clan and by donating your influence to her clan

    Check whether the woman you married is an enemy for hers...

    The friend enemy mechanic is quite... strange...

    Currently I have negative relations with my wife :eek: (cause of execution of enemy lords)

    Personally I have not encountered once this issue.

    But please next time name the title of the post with the issue itself. It helps the devs to know whether this issue is being worked on or not.

    When you are planning to propose a policy you have two steps:

    1. Propose the policy - cost of 50 in your case
    2. Support the policy - cost can vary quite a bit

    So potentially you used an additional 100 influence (which technically should not have let you

    within your own kingdom, its difficult at the start.
    Relations will be affected by policy decisions and also by voting on who gets a town or castle. the amount of influence you spend on those decisions will impact the amount of relation you gain/lose.

    then there are the tasks which you can complete for each faction. that helps in relations too.

    Unsure how to affect relations with lords outside your kingdom yet

    Same here, i got -43 relation with wife and it is very odd...

    Reason for the negative relation was due to the executions i have been doing of enemy lords.
    This is purely stupid, how can enemies be friends -_-

    Would prefer to stay away from mods as much as possible. My idea is to have a clear picture on what the game will be like on final release so that I can provide productive feedback to the dev team. This game has so much potential that I want to help as muc has possible.

    In 1.0.6 they patched that the Voulge was no longer couchable. They did it by removing the couch tag from the shaft part of the weapon. The problem is that also removed the capability from all the weapons that also use that part, which turns out to be all the good ones.

    As for the aiming, are you playing in first or third person? I play third and don't have many issues aiming polearms while mounted, couched or no, and also able to see ahead, but there is the occasional tunnel vision I get and I end up galloping straight into a tree. I did crank my FOV to 72 from the options (IIRC its set all the way down by default) see if that helps for now?

    As an alternative to Karmidzhanov's suggestion if you don't want to mess with mods right now, you can click your portrait in the bottom left of the smithing interface to swap active smith to someone else in your party. I have all my companions do the refining/charcoal, and have my character do smelting and smithing since those two give way better XP per stamina and have better part discovery than refining. You can spec them out with all the refining perks and get every recipe that way. I find this way I can get a lot of smithing done in a day. As for stamina recovery, you don't have to wait a full day to get back your stamina as you get it back much like you heal HP when waiting. In my experience, waiting from noon to midnight gives back ~70% stam per character.

    Yes precise, from 1.0.6 that happened. I figured it must have affected a bunch of other equipment, which mean it might need additional branching of the pole part in order to identify the couchable ones separately. (Please note that for blacksmithing I realised that there is no option for couchable polearms to be produced).

    Playing on third person specifically. I find it easier to manage the battlefield and this issue only crops up when aiming on ground units.
    Will be testing the FOV, cheers :smile:

    Re blacksmithing, nice pointer on increasing efficiency but this would delay the improvement on blacksmithing of the main character as the exp points goes to the other units. My concept is to get the main character up to speed on blacksmithing while I leave the other units to their parties (like that I can increase field advantage when facing other armies etc).

    You are correct in stating first person is better for accuracy, but I do not see it useful in a battle with multiple enemies.
