    For an imperial bandit faction there is a lot of inspiration from the Roman Empire, the chain could be something along the lines of

    Dispossessed (peasants who have had their land expropriated)
    Latrones (Ancient latin term for Bandits)
    Bagaudae (Bandit movement from the late Roman Empire)
    Foederati Deserters (Imperial allies and axuilliaries who've deserted)
    Imperial Deserters (weak version of the Legion)
    Rebel Dux/Rebel Comes (An imperial officer who has deserted)

    I'd like to see more bandit variety in the game, the one's that already exist give little added flavour from those that were present in warband. Some ideas I've had. Runaway slaves Would be around the Imperial factions, plenty of broken chains present on their persons, armed with pitchforks...

  6. Hunt and Forage

    I thought that perhaps you could do different creatures based on terrain

    Forest would be Deer and Wolves
    Plains would be Wild Board and Wolves
    Mountains would be Mountain Goats and Bears
    Desert would be Antelope and Leopards

    Predators would yield furs rather than hides
  7. Special Units for Each Empire Faction

    In general I don't mind each empire faction having the same unit roster but I think it would be cool addition if each one had one unique unit that only they had access to. Southern Empire being the dynastic faction might have a unit that's more guard focused, maybe an upgrade of the Bucellarii...

  9. Animal Slaughter

    I like that any animal can be slaughtered for meat, but I think it would be a nice touch that whenever an animal was slaughtered they also produced hides for tade. Just another small touch to make this game great.
  10. Battle loot nerf

    I like this idea, reducing things to groups rather than having to sort through all that trash in your inventory. But maybe the game could also tell you which units the loot was from.

    Rather than iron ore I think it would be nice to see it as "Scrap Iron" for immersion reasons, it could have the same value and effect economically and for smithing. Perhaps scrap bronze as well. Possibly different tiers for the different units, looters or peasants might produce "copper coins" mid tier units "hack silver" and top tier "gold" or jewels. Maybe even refer to it as talents of gold, silver or bronze. Maybe these could be minted into coinage in a city.

    Cavalry units could produce hides and possibly meat as well.
