  1. Beta Patch Notes e1.5.10

Great job. Game gets better and better every patch!!!
  2. I Have No Control Over My Vassals - I accidently started an Oligarchy

I keep hearing this and it's a lame excuse. Kings and others sent messengers with orders, they didn't go everywhere to tell everyone personally what to do.
It doesn't matter if it's RTS or you just call it RTS. Is it more realistic? Does it give the player agency? YES and YES. So it needs to be done.
If you complain that instant messaging is not realistic enough, send messenger parties with the orders, so there will be a (realistic) delay between issueing and receiving orders. But this doesn't really bring much to the player experience.
I don't think its a lame excuse. 3 things were rejected. 2 of them was telling your calm members what to do and where to go and the 3rd one was about absolute control as the king.

1-prioritized target: Im not against the idea, would have made it so that you can communicate with a clan member roughly what to do, and the the AI brain will decide if it want to do that. And base on you tactics + social + INT and their stats, will determine how well they work and listen to you. I don't think making it RTS style (where units are just like dead pieces on a board) fits the game which is supposed to be more of living world.

2-prioritized upgrade: same as before. I don't mind them adding a small dialogue where you tell your dude, focus on shock or cav with my culture. But it should be up to the AI brain if they want to or not. Then if they mess up we can fire them, have a sort of boss employee relationship.

3-more power as king: The game is meant to be played as if the AI are real and have their own agendas. Figuring out ways to navigate around them is part of the intended gameplay (I think).

I play CK2 and CK3, and they are great games. In this game, I think the player is supposed to work with the AI and hope they do their job (kind of how we hope that the people we work with do their job).
During the crusades, the crusaders were famously bad at working together. So were the Turks btw.
However it would be an interesting Idea to introduce more RTS elements if the player has more social skills. To simulate you being a better communicator and leader.
  3. I Have No Control Over My Vassals - I accidently started an Oligarchy

oh i don't want a fullblown RTS, all i want is a more immersive game and at the very minimum the basic features warband had and if possible expanded a bit to be more interesting, warband had many awesome and immersive features but sadly most of them were shallow (understandably a product of it's time), bannerlord just erased many of them without any kind of replacement.

    marriage mini-game? speech-check instead
    skill books? nothing
    controversy? nothing
    right to rule? nothing
    claimants? nothing
giving suggestions to other lords or asking for support in military endeavors? nothing for now and most of it was rejected in their recent meeting according to Mexxico
making camp to rest in the world map? just the wait button
making companions into lords with distinctive personalities base on their background and reactions from other lords to it? nothing
distinctive personalities of AI lords? just the trait system that don't seem to affect anything in their decision making for now
A lot of what you mention here is more social aspect of the game. Personally I thought (and still think) they will have a dedicated update for that (maybe DLC). From all the update I see they have been focusing on three things 1-Bugfixes 2-Performance enchantment 3-Polishing existing mechanics (like adding perks and balance). I think they want the base bread and butter to be as good as it can be before they seriously focus adding other things. It can be frustrating since those 3 things I mentioned are not as visible as actual content and for those who play a lot it feels like the game isn't getting anything new. But those 4 things are time consuming jobs and are important.
  4. I Have No Control Over My Vassals - I accidently started an Oligarchy

Some people are disappointed about the decision. But the game is not an RTS, they even stated that in the comments. You play as one person in the world, not as a floating above the map god that can see everything. It feels like some people want this game to become ck2 or ck3 with an option to participate in battle via 3rd person camera. I am not saying heaving more RTS elements is a bad thing, but I do not think it is necessary to make the game better. For those who really want it though, I 100% know there will be a mod for you guys.
  5. Any chance the devs will release the old Bannerlord maps?

I would also like to see the bannerlord map be more accurate to warband
  6. This is merchandise not food + Soldiers eat while marching.

I think if you lock the food they won't eat it. Might be wrong though.
I think that's only for selling.
  7. Are there any plans to work on social systems?

I might have missed some dev updates but has there been anything said about the social side of the game. Like conversation, relationships, heaving a wedding, holding feasts, persuasion checks, more socially meaningful interactions with companions ext.? I understand that combat, smithing, bugs...
  8. This is merchandise not food + Soldiers eat while marching.

I just made an account to make some quick suggestions. 1: Can we have a button that will tell your soldiers to not eat a certain food, perhaps if we bought that food for trading purposes. In Warband I would just put that food to the end of the inventory. 2: Armies never really camp or stop...
