  1. Army AI needs a major overhaul.

The AI just doesn't use armies effectively and it's a problem. Where to even start.

Formation: AI loves to form their army deep inside friendly territory. Often they'll invite Lords who are already on the front lines, who then have to travel to the rally point, then travel back. Major waste of time, and it's not at all uncommon to see them already under 50 cohesion by the time they even see an enemy.

Targeting: They're still terrible at picking appropriate siege targets. Example; Southern Empire will be sieging targets halfway down into Aserai while completely bypassing Husn Fulq and Tannuh Castle. Over the course of three wars. Not helped by the previous issue where they spend a week forming the army by Poros, then start marching straight for Quyaz and running out of cohesion and disbanding before they even get there.
Other examples: Northern Empire targeting Balkathand despite Khuzaits holding several of their castles by Amphrela.
Worst example by far was Southern Empire declaring war on Sturgia (which shouldn't happen anyway) while at war with the Western Empire. Rhagaea gets together 1,500 troops and marches on a random castle in Sturgia, all the way through an intact Northern Empire, while the Western Empire absolutely ravages the South.

Siege Mechanics: Lost count of the number of times I've seen the AI arbitrarily abandon a siege to go patrol around a random village or something similar, to the point where I recently watched a 500-man army break off an assault on a castle with 50 garrison when only 7 enemies were left. They just packed up and decided to head all the way to the other end of the kingdom. I have also seen armies that size besieging castles with literally zero defenders and waiting to build a ram and a siege tower.

Reinforcements: The AI will recruit from towns and villages in an army, which is good, but there should be a certain point where they'll cut a Lord loose to go recruit on his own if he's down to 4 troops. They should also look for new Lords to invite periodically, because it seems like they only ever have the Lords they start with and that's it.

Suicidal behavior: An army really needs to know when to call it quits. Seen 5-6 Lords in an army with a handful of troops each run deep into enemy territory to raid a village and get taken out and captured by one full-strength enemy party.
Yeah I noticed the same problems... Armies should form near the frontline and should prioritize taking back fiefs they lost to the enemy (and not conquering some xy castle far away, while their own castles were taken from them)
  2. Are Workshops even worth it? (Response to pottery nerf)

Yes. I get close to a 1,000 for my brewery. Caravans and workshops are necessary to offset all the expense you incur (without having to exist off of the spoils of battle). This typed, I'd guess that only the barest framework has been put in place, as even with my highly lucrative brewery (well, it's my most lucrative workshop), it'd sell for less than I bought it for (I've never had a workshop sell price be profitable) and there are levels listed, but they don't seem to be functional ATM.
How did you manage that much? Max I can get with brewery is about 250.
  3. Patch Notes e1.0.11 / Beta Hotfix

The Aserai campaign bonus is hosed in beta. I just paid 15k for my caravan. Not sure if the other part works, but the non-beta build charges me 12k for the caravan.
It doesn't work for me even in the non-beta. How does it work for you?
  4. Not being able to walk in Vlandian cities

    I don’t have this issue
    But I have better specs
The game runs just fine on low settings (and some set on medium), decent FPS, no other crashes... only this.
  5. Not being able to walk in Vlandian cities

    CPU Type: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4702MQ CPU @ 2.20GHz
    System Memory: 8 GB
    AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series, 2048 MB

It's strange to me because it's limited to Vlandian cities... all other work just fine
  6. Not being able to walk in Vlandian cities

I don't know how to post this as a bug, so I'll post it here if anyone has simillar issues. Whenever I want to take a walk in Vlandian city or even enter the lord's keep, my game crashes. I get message about only nVidia GPU and Windows 10 being supported. I have AMD graphics card and W10. This...
  7. Beta 1.1.0 Feedback

That is a good point, I will check the hideout first to see how many bandits are inside. Typically though, I'm not killing the bandit parties outside. I spot a hideout and check nearby villages for the clear hideout quest.
You should see a small icon when hovering above a hideout. If it's only one icon, it means there is only one party inside (the final one with a boss you can duel). Other parties are outside (especially if you killed some of them that were already wandering around)
  8. Beta 1.1.0 Feedback

About hideouts. They are empty because you killed all of the bandits in the area (that come from that hideout) - if that's not the case, then it's different from how I get empty hideouts.
