I personally know more than a dozen people who would begin playing Bannerlord again if they removed or severely improved the block delay. A lot of people told me Bannerlord failed stating the delay as one of the reasons.

If only I could apply all those hours of Warband into Bannerlord... It helps new-comers to the series, but I find that's the only upside to it. Maybe even replace it with a system such as a 2H sword needing to be swung at the right angle to have the best effect but keeping the speed up, like the dud-hits or glances you'd get in Warband.

I feel like they're cutting the skill out of it intentionally, if a new player can kill a player with 2000+ hours without having to out-skill, it's more user-friendly than not. For me I feel like I just can't fight anymore with the block delay... I never feinted in warband but if I want to get anywhere I have to feint as best as I can on Bannerlord.

For those who are interested in upgrading to windows 10 but are a bit worried whether or not it will work properly on your system, I successfully upgraded, with the only issue being that the system was slower, but I had windows 7 for almost 10 years and I had previously fine-tuned my system to make it run a bit faster, which I had to do in Windows 10 and now it performs the same as it did before.
Googling how to optimise Windows 10 will give a good overview of what to do, especially if you're running on a HDD.

It's pretty simple to get Windows 10 going if you're already on Windows 7. I know it's not ideal and I wish I could have stayed on Win7 forever as it's especially good for poor musicians to get good plugins the shady way. We'll have to choose what's more important, Bonerlord or Freedom.

Well if you're that worried about missing out on playing Multiplayer for a few days it's the quickest option as of right now until the devs openly address it.

I've just finished the installation and everything is working fine now with Multiplayer, I've not given it enough time to see if there's going to be any compatibility problems down the line, as much as I loved Windows 7 I suppose I'll just have to evolve.
My questionable applications seem to still work so that's a plus.

I'm gonna bite the bullet and upgrade from Windows 7 to 10, which I'm told is still possible as I have an activated version of Win7.

I have some applications that have questionable origins as to how I acquired them which is my biggest fear as I'd like them to work the way they do on Windows 7.
I'll post the results when it's all finished.

When this happened I just changed my tactics to suit the ball of men rather than the line...

The best option for the most desperate may be to look in dual booting Windows 7 and 10 on the same hard drive. I'm not doing as I don't have anything to backup files onto in case anything goes wrong.
