  1. Beta Patch Notes v1.2.0-v1.2.4

We are still working on that issue.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST PUSH THIS PATCH TO MAIN VERSION AND STOP RELEASING PETTY UPDATES THAT BREAK ALL THE MODS.

Once again we are unable to play the game because of an update no one wanted or needed - AND WE CAN'T EVEN ROLL IT BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION!

I'm sure you are aware that this game is tedious, monotonous, repetitious, and unplayable without mods.

If you guys insist on constantly breaking the game, PLEASE at least give us the option of choosing to roll back if we wish.
  2. Need More Info kicks me out when I want to lead the battle

Hey, can you please share a video of the issue, or describe it with screenshots? You can send the files me via Ticket. To send us a ticket, please visit the www.taleworlds.com site and login to your forum account from the top right. Click to "My Account" and then click to "My Open Tickets". You can create a ticket there and include the file and as well as the forum link of this thread. You can find more info about how to upload files to us with the new ticketing system here. Thanks for reporting and sorry for any inconvenience!
Just a guess, but I assume he's referring to besieging a castle. You spend time setting up, bombarding (losing men) and then someone else in the faction comes along and you lose command of the siege. Pretty annoying feature TBH.
  3. Idea for Bannerlord

    So basically
You know how in Warband if your force is stronger then the garrison of a city or castle you could convince them to leave?
Why not add that aspect to Bannerlord, I mean what's a garrison of a few hundred men going to do against massive armies that could be over 1000 strong.
Modders have already done that job for Taleworlds - here & here. If you're on console then RIP.
  4. Beta Patch Notes v1.2.0-v1.2.4

I don't find this and the other reply helpful. I suspect it is an unintended consequence of other game changes. And I actually like most of the other changes. Feedback on the test branch is the goal of the branch. I was also curious if others had seen it. I think this thread may not be the right place for this feedback?

Perhaps I should submit it as a "bug"?

... even though as a (retired, non-game) developer, I would not call this a "bug".
🥱 Maybe (in all your wisdom) you should consult the patch notes for changes to the medicine skill tree?

    Spoiler: They did some stuff.
  5. Beta Patch Notes v1.2.0-v1.2.4

Anyone else notice on the test branch that early game medicine levels much slower than before?

I don't think it is a bug, it does level. I suspect that AI being more defensive means the troops get less injured. So, you get less medicine experience. This is in the vs bandits and very small party stage. Then you get to sieges, and the siege weapons now outright kill, one shot, so again .. less medicine experience. It just feels more annoying to level that skill with a new character on test than on live.
Working as intended. The T in Taleworlds stands for Tedium.
  6. Roadmap? Features in the future? Anything?

    Lol.

Dejan noped tf out of this one. The Whack-a-community manager method didn't work guys :/
    He must be trolling? Surely...
  7. Roadmap? Features in the future? Anything?

    Hoping for Japan DLC
Just stop. For the love of god. Stop.
  8. Dear developers the engine looks outdated.

What you guys are not seeing for some reason is that instead of arguing that "there are things that need to be fixed/added with more urgency", we could just add this to the list of things the Devs will never fix because anything the community asks for will be instantly added to a blacklist of "DO NOT DO"
Exactly. By Taleworlds' logic, if the community ask for something, then it almost certainly isn't worth doing (unless of course, there is a mod that has done it already and they can easily adapt it and call it their own - and even that is highly unlikely).
  9. Slowly losing interest

    Unfortunately I’m on console :/
    🤣
  10. Any news on beta 1.2 being connected se to done yet?

    As the title says....?
I'm not quite sure what the title says 🤔

    It's somewhat incomprehensible unfortunately.
  11. Beta Patch Notes v1.2.0-v1.2.4

For communication, TW wanted to be honest in the past and took it even more seriously, because some features more complex than expected had to be canceled or postponed. Henceforth the community has the communication that it itself caused, only certainties.
Ahhh, you speak for Taleworlds. Good to know you are their new community rep!

BTW, speaking on others' behalf (as if you are that entity - even when you have nothing to do with them), is in its own way, 'grotesque'.
  12. a message to the community and developers(From reddit)

A barely comprehensible post about better communication. Oh, the irony!

To top it off the dude doesn't even know the name of the company who made the game...
  13. About updates and mods and blablabla

Mods will continue to break until the game is finished and it´s more about fixing minor issues.
Hahaha I see what you did there! Very good sir!
  14. You guys are very sweet to set a button controlling how many times reinforcements spawn

You are telling Taleworlds to think before they act? The audacity!

Taleworlds always think (long and hard) before they act. The mess of a game you see before you is the result of 10+ years of careful thought and consideration. Enjoy!

  16. Won't launch

Jesus Christ... Have you tried uninstalling all your mods and starting the game?
  17. I think making money in Bannerlord is too easy

YES YOU CAN ChatGPT is a feature-rich, automated natural language processing technology that can be used to identify, diagnose, and fix major bugs in Bannerlord. Not only does it do so quickly and accurately, but it also has the capability to self-learn from the data at hand and generate improved solutions over time. This makes it an invaluable tool for developers who need an efficient means of tackling difficult issues with minimal effort. Additionally, ChatGPT’s open source code allows it to be integrated into any existing project as well as receive further development to further improve its capabilities. Consequently, using ChatGPT in resolving major bugs in Bannerlord is not only a practical solution but advantageous as well.

As a passionate player of the popular game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, I'm deeply concerned about some troubling issues with the game. For instance, there are bugs that can interfere with gameplay and slow down progression. Additionally, various game mechanics and features have yet to be implemented or still require significant development work. While these issues may frustrate players, rest assured I'm far from being a "troll". My primary goal is to help the developers identify and resolve any pressing issues as quickly as possible to keep players coming back for more of this enjoyable experience.
Ok, you are a troll. Not engaging any further.
  18. I think making money in Bannerlord is too easy

I believe that making money in Bannerlord is far too simple. With so many trade caravans running rampant, it's easy for even a capable novice to rake in coin by taking advantage of the opportune economic climate - a situation which should be more closely monitored to ensure that it remains balanced and fair. It may be necessary to make some adjustments to the current system if we are to stop those who wish to exploit this feature and hoard wealth beyond what is deemed acceptable.
This has to be a troll. The economy is broken and trade is pointless once prices level out. You used to be able to make profit trading before they decided to counter the 'exploits'. Now all goods end up being worth the same or less than you paid for them (regardless of trade skill) after a few hours of play. Workshops have been nerfed and make 0 sense. A settlement or castle can be rich in resources and yet those workshops are the LEAST profitable - completely counter to what you would expect to see in reality. Aside from that, half the resources in the game serve 0 purpose. Battle loot is equally pitiful. I assume you are exploiting smithing or using mods, otherwise you wouldn't be saying what you are. Who deems what level of wealth if acceptable in your opinion and how do you propose to fix this problem?

Also - 'Opportune economic climate' - LOL Jesus save me.
  19. In Progress It is not possible to select only the mustache

Hey, i have forwarded the issue to the QA team. Thank you for reporting it in.
Why haven't they fixed it yet?
