    Khuzait bankruptcy problem

You understand this is the only advantage they get? They suck at sieges and fighting on any terrain that isn't clear of obstacles.
They don't suck in any fights IMO, if your goal is to siege with your army you need to build your army appropriately. Khan's Guard are still heavily armored top tier archers in sieges. Obviously you will want a sizable amount of shielded infantry, which you can recruit from anywhere. The difference between shielded infantry in the current version is not that big, their job is mostly to block projectiles anyways. My point is that they don't have to siege if you just want to join the Khuzait kingdom and stay there. The AI actually does a fine job sieging if you don't touch the pool of parties that are available to build an army with. I don't care what you put against a Khan's Guard charge it will die, even if the layout is horrible you can still charge and easily win the fight. I have quite literally rounded up 200 Khan's Guard and took entire kingdoms with that stack of units without going back to recruit more units. Sure you can do the same with Fian Champions but the ease in which you can kill entire kingdoms will be much, much more tedious. It's too time consuming to chase parties with a size of 150-200 when you have 125+ fian champions and 75 infantry/mounted units. If you build your character accordingly by going for the map movement enhancing perks and a full Khan's Guard army the game becomes a cake walk currently.

    Khuzait bankruptcy problem

I was vocal about nerfing the Khuzait back in time, but atm unless they are joined by the player, they are "doomed" in all my plays, and my faction isnt at war with them "that much either".
We've only taken 1 city + 3 castles in total.
As someone who has played Khergit/Khuzait for a very long time I have to agree that they are only really strong when the player joins their kingdom. It's so easy to imprison nearly the entire enemy kingdom as the player and have other lords do the "dirty work". As much as I love playing whilst using the classic Mongol tactic (mass rain of arrows into horse charges), it is currently too powerful. The fact that Khuzait noble T4 units will absolutely obliterate any non-Khuzait unit doesn't sit right with me. Polearms that can swing are currently devastating, when you add a charge bonus to that damage you will just oneshot anything that moves. In all of my Khuzait playthroughs I barely lose troops if I fight on favourable terrain, which you should be able to do since your entire army can easily consist of only mounted troops. IMO a good change would be to swap the Kheshig's (Steppe War) bow and the Khan's Guard's (Steppe Recurve) bow, give them piercing arrows whilst significantly reducing the damage output with polearm swings on horseback. I'm sure this has been debated before, haven't been on the forum for a long time.

Caravans need serious help 1.6.5 (Dear Devs) Post #3 29 days later

Thank you for your detailed analyses and your dedication as a fan!
We're actively investigating the issues with the caravans. Currently one major issue is, as you stated in your video, that the caravans get captured by the lord parties.

As I said, I implemented some trackers for caravans in our automatic campaign tests. For example, on our development branch we record that approximately 80% of the caravans are killed by the lord parties (mostly minor factions). Also has a quite low lifetime (i.e. they're not worth their investment in the late game) We will probably try out several things to mitigate this problem.

First is to increase the party speeds of the caravans a bit, this would both increase their survivability and their profitability (because of the speed).

Other solutions we'd like to explore is the amount items available in towns. Currently, there is an excess of goods in all towns and caravans can not utilize their full capacity (since the profitability drops as they buy more and more).
Perhaps the production consumption balance of some late game towns are out of balance and this affects the profitability of the caravans a lot. As I gather more information I will try to share it with the community.
Isn't there a way to make the caravans stop going for a certain path? For instance: if there is a bridge and they are not able to pass it for X amount of seconds, they then choose a different path? As @Bannerman Man mentioned, the caravans can also just get attacked by a bandit party and get overrun by other parties if the fight takes too long. Maybe the caravans could run around any enemy parties, no matter the size? I've seen caravans get sandwiched a lot of times as well (they weren't mine, but still the issue remains). This includes being pinned down against impassable terrain, basically nullifying their superior movement in that scenario. I can imagine the risk vs. reward will be an issue if they are too "smart". Good luck finding the answer in any case!

    Bandits hideouts

I agree, this would be a good addition. Having both your troops and the enemy troops just stand there with a blank stare kills the immersive experience. Especially when you are fighting the bosses who can 1-hit you it can be quite thrilling.

Why was Old Troop Assignment System removed?

I agree that changes needed to be made to the old system. Around the mid-game you start adding varying units to your party which kept needing to be put in a specific formation in the party screen. However, currently the new system is not working as I imagine it was intended to work. Some (around 20~25%) of the 2-handed infantry formations are joining shield infantry formations and vice versa. The same thing happens when you try to seperate heavily armored unit formations and lightly armored formations. Currently even some of the Tier 1 infantry units are joining Tier 5 infantry formations. All of the above happens with horsemen/horse archers as well. Also completely agree that heroes should be able to have their own formation. (y)

[1.7.0] Impossible to separate infantry types now into different formations?

Wait a second... So they've added this whole (incredibly buggy, borderline broken) deployment system, only to not let the player divide their troops by type or weapons..? Are you telling me you actually can't separate, say, spearmen and shock swordsmen..?
And they've done that while ALSO making companions impossible to put in their own division, not giving the possibility to save formations, AND totally ignoring the glaring reinforcement issues??
Wow what a great patch, am I right? totally made the game better!
You can seperate them but it's not working perfectly currently. It's still a great feature, just needs some tweaking. Sieges are much better IMO, which is enough reason for me to play the beta.

[1.7.0] Impossible to separate infantry types now into different formations?

Has anyone figured out a way to separate troops of the same type by tier (like imperial archer separate from Imperial palatine Guard)? From what I can see, it seems to be impossible for now.
The same happens when you try to seperate anti-cav infantry with shield infantry. Shielded units are mixed with the anti-cav units even when you specifically ask for shielded units. High armor seperation seems to not work completely either, it still takes low armored units and puts them together in 1 formation. This is also the case for horsemen/horse archers. I'm hoping they can make it work but currently it is quite frustrating.

    What happened to Bannerlord Tweaks?

Are you ****ing kidding me? What kind of glue are you sniffing?

There are over a MILLION downloads of that mod.

    For an Early Access game.

Get off your smoothbrain high-horse. This isn't just me. It's a substantial fraction of the entire player base.
The point still stands that the developers dont have to cater to your needs. You are complaining that a mod isn't working, a mod which they didn't make. Indirectly you are saying that the developers should make these mods work at all times. If anything, you should be glad that they even announced that mods will most likely not function properly with each version of the game. They did not have to announce that to the playerbase. Just because 1 million people downloaded the mod doesn't mean that they actually made proper use of it, or even liked it for that matter. Is it hard for you to believe that there are players who want a slower game experience? Not everyone wants the ability to conquer the map in a day, or get to a high skill level in a day. For me personally the game feels too easy, but I'm not going to cry about it on a forum because I know that there are a lot of players who find the game quite difficult.

    What happened to Bannerlord Tweaks?

I already paid money to buy the game. It's not my or the modders' responsibility to keep making up for the fact that it's dog ****.

And it's definitely not my responsibility to you to not complain paying for a **** product. It's my right.

Also if you think I'm being unreasonable, it's not your responsibility or even within your power to convince me that my subjective experience is wrong. Go touch some grass, man. Feel the sunshine. My opinions about a videogame can't hurt you.
It's also not the developer's responsibility to cater to one person's needs. I'm sure someone on the forum has a complete opposite opinion. Ask yourself what you are trying to accomplish by pointing out the game is "dog *****". If you don't like the game, don't play it. Very simple.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.7.0

Can we please have the ability to assign troops to formations before combat again? The current system puts low armor units in formations where I ask for armored units. It specifically happens when I want to have Torguud/Keshig/Khan's Guard units in one formation and the lower tier horse archers in another formation. When I try to prioritize heavy armor in a specific formation it adds some of the low tier horse archers, whom obviously will die very quickly in melee combat. It is not an issue of having enough heavily armored horsemen, I make sure to adjust the slider accordingly. Leveling those lower tier horse archers is also painful right now, because the high tier units now also blend into the "low armor" formation  If it was 1 for every 10 units I would not mind as much, but it's about 20% of the formation.

    A message to the devs

No matter what the devs do people will just complain it seems, left the forums after the game got put in EA and all I saw was *****ing and moaning. They give an extra 10 euro discount for their loyal players who bought the first M&B, which they did NOT have to do at all. Few posts praise them for this. Few days/weeks later all I see is waves of unconstructive criticism about the game. Never forget that EA is a privilege first and foremost, no matter if you paid for it or not. Thankfully the game keeps me well entertained so I don't have to dwell the forums as much anymore for some M&B content/discussion. All I have to add is that I hope all the employees are doing well and are able to work safely.

    Hideouts making no sense

Every hideout is very doable, no matter the amount of enemy units. Make 1 of your companions a melee unit with shield wall formation and put them in front of units with longbows and watch every enemy just drop without them touching you. The only hideout you can have trouble with is Forest Bandit, but their AI is very bad, as they will never go in melee range of you if you stand behind a tree. I can solo forest bandit hideout doing this. If their AI changes however it will be extremely difficult, but I'm sure we will find a way to beat it as well!

Cheaters in bannerlord in EU servers "Beta"

Didn't encounter anything suspicious, and I got my key in about a week after it got spread out to community members. Also, if you're so sure of yourself, why did you not write down the player(s) name(s)? That would be the first thing I do, if I did not have a local recording. ESPECIALLY if I'm going on a forum complaining about it, I would have some form of proof.

    Early Access Information

I am honestly shocked at the 20% discount... 40 euro for a game we will play 10 times longer than any AAA 60 euro game. Well played TaleWorlds!

We Want dismemberment and decapitation as an option. YOU HEAR ME TALEWORLDS?!

It's opportunity cost. You get your flashy kills, but is that worth having significantly less units on the battlefield? They should focus on things like story & progression in SP and making combat balanced for both SP and MP, not some gore feature IMO.

    (temp) Dev Blog 14/02/20

    you sure??

I would much rather have a final pre-EA devblog, for (new) people who want to know what they can expect gameplay wise, price wise, where they can purchase the game etc. All of this info has already been given, but it would be nice to see as much information as possible in the final devblog.

    Dev Blog 21/11/19

More eye candy, content and clarity on every single hyperlink on the main page. In a few months we will be able to play this wonderful game's single player mode, so there will be an extremely large amount of players flocking Taleworlds' main website. Great (and necessary) changes!

    This week's blog

    Callum_TaleWorlds 说:
Let me start by apologising for the lack of a blog last week. We are truly sorry to have kept you waiting and I am personally sorry for announcing that it would come 1 day later. We have been discussing switching to a new schedule so we can divert some more attention to the ongoing beta and there was some confusion about whether this new schedule went into effect last week.

So, the new schedule... From now on, we will be posting blogs every fortnight. We feel that this will be much more manageable in the long term and allow us to put more effort into both the blogs and with engaging with our players in the ongoing beta. We know this might be a little disappointing for some of you, but we feel that this is the best option moving forward.

If I can give you some advice, it would be better if you didn't use words like ''tomorrow'' or other specific words when there is uncertainty. I'm honestly not angry or anything, it's just that there are so many meatheads in the world who get sensitive about things like this. It's not worth the headache. People remember your failures and forget your accomplishments/good deeds. You are honestly doing a great job, I know people who are in a position like yours and sometimes you feel helpless because you are just doing your job, but you get the short end of the stick. #teamCallum #utherealMVP

Sieges problems i have seen during gamescom 2019 single player playthrough

A crenel is a completely natural position for an archer to shoot from, so I honestly don't get the point of this thread. If anything the gap between each merlon on the battlement is the issue. There is no point to have to be 3x the size of a human body, it's extremely ineffecient for knocking arrows in between shots.

    Cavalry vs Infantry

    shatti 说:
    i agree
spears in the game are underpowered specially against cav

if you look to the posture in warband, the soldier "the player" hold the spear stick from the middle, which cause short reach
great sword reach is longer than a war spear

My roommate saw me play Warband one day and he himself also plays the game, I raided a village with some companions who were also on horseback and I constantly got ''CC'd'' by the pitchfork wielding farmers. My roommate was like ''oh, is that a mod?''. At that time I realized how little variety there is in polearm/spear units in the game, quite sad really.
