  1. Lords Declaring war

They dignify you sire by naming you a nation.
  2. Too many bandit parties. Which helps kill the game.

I'll admit I do see x captured by looters/bandits way more often than I should.

At first I chuckled, but it's a common occurrence. Considering how many swarms of looters and bandits you eventually get as lords dont seem to bother clearing them out I'm not surprised.
  3. Buying fiefs for 1 denar

I think anyone who can buy a fief can and will be able to buy them for 1 denarii. I haven't had a time when I couldn't.
  4. Game breaking faction/kingdom snowballing balance problem

factions being dismantled early by dumb AI thinking 2 wars at the same time is a good idea
Ive had my OWN faction of literally just me declare war on Sturgia. I was based in aserai lands.

I got a suspicion that factions don't actually declare wars but theres some script that just randomly makes 2 factions at war every now and then.
  5. Smithing bugs and rebalance required

Has anyone actually managed to craft a legendary weapon yet? I cheated my way to Smithing lvl 350
I also cheated and set smithing to 350 as well. Made my stamina infinite via cheat engine, same for resources. And just had an autoclicker keep making weapons.

Hours later I have a lot of weapons but I dont really see anything "legendary".
  6. Spawning with garbage equipment in "Rival Gang" quest

Get better civilian gear. You can get decent enough weapons and armour for it. You're having a gang war in town, of course you can't walk in with your army and full on armour. That would attract so much attention to you.
  7. Factions go to war against far away factions that aren't neighbors

but just it wasn't very bright
It's the only thing that would explain that! I've had the southern empire, which was losing to the Northern Kingdom, declare war on the Western empire... then Sturgia... It did not go well for the southern empire. It seems completely random and might be.

Not much can explain entering a 3 way war when you are losing a 1v1.
  8. Guys, your game is monstrously hard

Seems unreasonable to ignore the entire questing system.

I have a friend who does quests. Half the time he gets stuck in (instant fail, impossible to complete quest etc etc) them because they aren't finished, his game crashes or whatever. Considering a lot of them are quite raw by far the most reasonable thing to do is in fact avoid them.

Devs also put quests in warband. By god I'll never do them.

Want money? Just join as a merc and then join an "army"/death stack. Sell all the loot and prisoners you earn and come out with ~20,000-50,000 denarii (before the army breaks apart from cohesion or lack thereof) when you started the journey with only ~1,000. By far the most efficient way to make money.
  9. Option to remove Grey Filter? Quite difficult to see with it.

Summary: An option to remove the grey filter from the game would be nice. It makes everything look washed out and not good, and makes it unreasonably hard to see in any "dark" places. Like the workshop, or any areas with some darkness within towns. I have to lean into my screen and squint to get...
  10. e1.0.4 armor changes

I'm more than certain that numbers are placeholders for the most part given how wildly things changed in a path. I mean the best shield is a wicker shield that costs more than a city. Or two. Or 50 since they all cost 1 denari regardless.
  11. [e1.0.1] List of questionable items (armor & weapon) values

That... is really the case. The prices are insane, and if you are part of an army. Or as I like to call it a death stack: You earn great loot to sell and become rich fast.

I went from ~1,000 to ~50,000 while being in an army before it broke apart due to cohesion. Prices are all over the place and items costing a lot, also means they sell for a lot so you have tons coin. Which means prices arent that bad. But thats an accident.

Mind you I have everything set to realistic with death turned on. While this only really applies to damage not loot and prices, it's still odd and unsatisfying how easy it is to make money. Don't take this to mean I like everything costing a ton just the opposite.
  12. 1.04 crossbow prices not fixed

By all accounts the price is silly.
  13. e1.0.4 armor changes

Actually the armoured bearskin was literally hands down the best cloak in the game before this change. And it shouldn't have been as good as it was, so it having much less armour now is good.

It probably should have more armour than basic pelt though.
  14. [e1.0.1] List of questionable items (armor & weapon) values

Yeah I've been looking over the armour and they did a very good job with improving things, but there are a lot of items to look at so this might take a while. I'll look through the armour and find anything obvious as well if you like?
  15. More infantry, no matter skill level = win

I've had the opposite problem where I beat an army of ~200 with an army of ~50 high tier boys. It wasn't even that hard. But then again imperial troops are nice and we're talking about fighting an actual enemy which the Aserai are by no means.

Though I agree that armour needs to be re-visited per https://forums.taleworlds.com/index...uestionable-items-armor-weapon-values.400838/

As for units? Yeah I heard some factions have units with odd stats. I've seen it myself with a stat going from 70 to 60 in the next tier then 80 in the one after.
  16. The current Smithy Stamina regen system is a anti-fun AND Inhumane mechanic

I've said it a few times, smithing is a mechanic for people who beyond a shadow of a doubt detest themselves and decide that they require the most creative, painful and barbaric of punishments.

This, of course, is only hyperbole. But by how much is for the individual to decide.

The stamina limit is too low.
    The regen is too low.
The amount of stuff you need to do, even with a 100% success rate to get a new part, is too much.
Getting parts you want is practically impossible, or rather improbable.

The system itself is awesome, put together parts for a weapon! I really love that! But what if you want a specific look? Well... that's what you'd be smithing for more than likely. Now, good luck with that. You can't aim for any specific part and have to by sheer luck get it. You get polearm parts for tearing apart swords. It'd make sense if taking apart a sabre gave you sabre parts! But nope.

At 300 smithing your maximum stamina is 100. You can barely do anything with this.

But hey in some cases you can buy weapons, take them apart for parts and sell parts on the same market for more. So that's nice? Just doesn't make any sense.
  17. Player Mercenaries are Treated as Vassals

Working for a nation to level up your clan is a great idea as a merc.

Being unable to leave without pissing everyone off is a problem.

Then again you can raise them all to 100 after beating them in fights and letting them go, but that's a different silly thing.
  18. Guys, your game is monstrously hard

This comes with learning more about the game and you learn one important thing.

Just don't. In my experience quests are never worth it so I never do them. I didn't do any quests in bannerlord and I conquered the map once so far. But this comes from warband experience of quests being awful so just don't do them. I have no idea what you get for them in bannerlord, but considering you can easily make 50k denari by joining an army and just being around for the loot collection and selling I doubt its worth it.
  19. Game breaking faction/kingdom snowballing balance problem

I've played 3 games with the Aserai
There's your problem, you played Aserai. They are by far the easiest to stomp faction. I've had southern kingdom defeat them when they had a strength of ~300 and Aserai had ~5000.

I thought this was about kingdoms destroying kingdoms not destroying a bunch of Live Action RolePlayers that somehow got roped into a war. In all seriousness Aserai faction is awful

    EDIT:
I believe this is because you cant recruit their best units as they are locked? Or at least you cant recruit the unit that upgrades into their good calv.
  20. Factions go to war against far away factions that aren't neighbors

I am unsure, but I suspect they have a stopgap for war in bannerlord. A system that just randomly makes 2 kingdoms at war? As I've even had my OWN faction of just myself declare war on Sturgia while I was in Aserai lands.

I can't imagine why else it would say my kingdom declared war on theirs, especially since I can't even declare war on anyone as kingdom management isn't in (or wasn't at the time.)

Might explain kingdoms suicidally entering 2 more wars after losing 1 war badly... and not even finishing it yet.
