Pendor looks small, but its melting pot for everyone fleeing from oppressing powers... barclay, snake cult, demons, you name it.
The only people native are the elves, and they are quite a few of them left. If you take the real forces together, count in the frequent slave trade and the enormous amount of refugees and mercenaries & invading armies that frequent pendor, it doesnt look so small after all. I'd say the average village has a population of around 1000 people, the towns are around 20000 to 40000 people and theres a heavy influx of fighting power from all sides. It would take centuries to wipe such big proportions out. Thats why PoP feels so lively and near to an actual battlefield. Id say theres a total of around 20.000 Elves left in all of pendor, and most are secluded to elacrai, its like a big minas tirith where they all gathered and from where they send their armies out from.

Is there a place where one can sign for being a beta tester? Just saying, if ya wanna test things, especially long term changes, I probably am a good choice to pick.

Thats not a tweak, thats a whole new feature. Its like asking here that a minor faction can not only sack a city, but take it.

Tweaks may happen, but what you suggested and my example are both features, with the lack of a advanced coder (konrad did some great stuff tho, but not hard code), that won't happen. Its not a simple as tweaking a number or adding a new line of text.

I agree with you on step 2.

Step one though is actually tweakable. Similar to the cheat tweaking where you give yourself the fief of some other lord, which is cheating i know.

BUT I feel theres a design error that after the Grandmaster quest you cant do much with the Stronghold... Its supposed to be a HQ for your order aka. you. Since your the Orders Leader.

Meaning theres supposed to be a way to "give" the stronghold/fief after the quest is finished to you.  I remember a fella who did the tweaking with the Noldor town. I think it was Andy years ag when occult meddling aka tweaking was frowned upon.

If someone could point me to the ID of the randomly generated Stronghold fief I might be able to "tweak" it. I still dunno if I will be able to do much but its a start.
Ralyks, theres nothing that cannot be done. Sure the code is not open for public use. But you can "guess" what code does what and then apply and do trial and error testing until its working.


Unless the mods ofc. would point me into the right occult direction

Day 1250...
After finishing the Knighthood order quest, I took pity on the ravenstern and enlisted to them as a mercenary. But oh boy I would have never thought how real this can of worms would get.

In the last 50 days 3 Jatu Spawns, 1 Heretic and 1 Mystmountain stack were harrassing the last 3 castles the Ravenstern faction owned. By design the Fierds seized tha moment and started doing a Blitzkrieg tactic of immense success. I was more busy rescuing those stupid lords of Ravenstern, than I was actually fighting the 4-5k army of the fierds. Needless to say when Sarleon joined in on the fun they took the last castle from Ravenstern, although I urged the lords to not go on a campaign to Avendor.... With their petty 500 troopps they couldnt even swat a fly. Now then I decided if I wanted to save them I had to do something more drastic. So I Went on and captured shieldstorm keep and Valourshield castle. By that time the Fierds and Sarleon were at it again and too busy to notion what was going on. I got the Fief of Shieldstorm keep as my HQ, but its not very perfect even though I myself am secured by a 7k + 4k Noldor patrol. Ofc that patrol keeps whacking the Ravemstern Lords but this also means they wont be starting any wars any time soon. Oh and the Empire had a winning streak against Fierds for the last 300 days, but then the Dshar came in and took all the conquered lands of the Empire... So Empire is back to 1 Town whence it was arround 3 Towns and 4 Castles

Soooo I finally got through that Epic Knighthood order quest. Its pretty awesome, but honestly the castle could use a permanent slave trader to accomodate the usefullness of such an order. Maybe even the option to store your troops there. Its a bit odd one can only use it to visit but not do much else with it, like a HQ for example.

I have it set to 350 and at different times I still get stutters, I have bodies turned off btw. The fact that you can run with your 980ti the thing so fine is a bit odd, since the jump from 960 to 980 is not that high. But eh whatever, yours is a PC and I got here a Lenovo Y700-17ISK that i got for under 800 Dollars with those specs. + Got 50% of 800 off from tax returns cuz I opted in to be a student :3

Or best solution. Kite em into some Noldor, Put all your troops and companions into a custom category "Personal Guard" or so. Then enter battle on side of Noldor and order all troops to charge em and order your troops to either follow you or stay back and enjoy the show. Ofc this only works as long as you yourself are alive. So your only worry might be to not get yourself knocked out in the heat of battle.


As always, dont be a hero, let someone else charge into that horde and take an arrow for you.

I have seen that some Lords actually Leave pendor, even though all factions are intact. I think it triggers if a lord has switched to often the sides, he will at some point be not able to switch anywhere else because he is a treasounus basterd, and will take exile outside of pendor. I think in my game Titus Legatus was the first to say "nope, im out of here"

I think I would be bored by that kind of gameplay as fighting lords/sieges is where I get most of XP, renown and the most challenging battles
So a sarleon v fierd face off, did you turn lords defecting off?

Oh you would be very impressed how much XP one can rack up from a 1000 vs 1000 Battle. Ive been mostly kiting big spawns into the Noldor. I hold the Doomguides as my personal guide in the back of the battle and fight alongside the Noldor racking XP after XP ... Theres 3 Noldor Spawns in the Woods with 1x 1300 Troops, 1x 2500 Troops 1x 3400 Troops. And the 1300 was by accident so theres a Huge Patrol roaming around becuz I fcked up and kited it into the wrong Noldor...

Day 600, Im still neither lord nor king, nor noble. I have been having a blast fighting Huge battles with my pal Ithilrandir by my side, he got me around two dozen Qualis gems that way. I think his party might have been growing too fat as it currently is.



Also this is what the map currently looks like, I didnt interact in those fights, not even once so all that has been happening is without player interaction.

Actually its still a Numenorean. But this time the version with the Brotherhood without Banners included. So basicly a mix of Tolkien & Martin in Saxondragons universe. Isnt that great?

I find it still a better story than that little girl warrior thing that was proposed years ago.
Must be somwhere around here still.
