  6. Anti-Khuzait strategies

    You need to have as much cav as they have cav archers

    They push the left side with cav archers 100% of time
    You do cavalary follow me, and "herd" them to your infantry when they crash against your Inf/archers you do infantry charge and kill most of the cav archers before the "proper" battle begins.

    Sometimes you can "herd" them to the wall map and have a huge melee vs them on the corners. (kinda of cheesy) i prefer the other strat

    Some clans seem to be disapearing from lack of children, make adoptions a thing to prevent this from happening

    Some battles the AI get on circle formation with the archers on mid, but the archers are so packed togheter that 80% of them dont shoot, make the AI do the circle larger and make ranged units with shield assist on the shield wall to make it bigger (if needed) so the center gets less crowded
  8. Serious issue with gameflow

    The underlying problem is that armour isn't good enough, so battles last barely any time.

    I think this can be balanced a bit better in a few ways:
    * Make armour provide much better protection against ranged damage, so that shieldless shock infantry are a more viable choice in the player's army, and can be used to break open shieldwalls.
    * Make shields take slightly more damage from arrows and bolts, so the player can eventually break shields with enough arrows.
    * Increase the effectiveness of melee cavalry charges so if you send your heavy cav to attack a turtling enemy formation they can do better damage than now.
    * Reduce the amount of troops who use large shields in the game a bit.

    Unfortunately yes. We need armor that functions more realistically against arrows! And take the Glaive from the Khan's Guard.
    make shield on back stop 100% of damage instead of sucking hard
    Make crossbows use a pavise shield or turn their backs on enemy while reloading
    troops on second and so forth rank should look more up to block more arrow fire
    Some special archers with shield for more block chance would be great (asking for much i know) (google cretan archers for example)
    Troops on first row of shieldwall could crouch if not moving to cover feet
    Spearmen thrust atack should be fixed, they move the shield to far from the body, (high polearm skill troops should be able to cover themselfs more while charging thrust)
    Spearmen with shields should be able to brace if skill also high

  11. 1.7.0 is the BEST PATCH EVER MADE IN 2 YEARS

    Despite the fact that I am still very critical to that game and it is missing a lot of features, I want to appreciate Taleworlds for what they did in the latest beta patch. I expected another generic "15 to 16 bow damage change" update, but Battle Terrain and Battle Deployment systems in one patch - keep doing that baby and this game shall shine. But what is more important - finally good performance. Taleworlds, please, take that patch as a starting point for future optimization updates, dont break it. I had my game worked on the medium settings without any tesselation, dynamic shadows and TSAO with 25-40 fps, now I have 30-45 on high with features below. THANK YOU TALEWORLDS, YOU RETURNED FAITH IN YOUR GAME AND YOURSELVES INTO MY HEART.

    Most of stuff you get from loot has a negative modifier. My question is does Roguery skill decreases the chance of geting more "cracked stuff" or it just increases the stuff you get?

    I want to create 4 squads, but I don't know which leaders to choose for them. Management, leadership, tactics, scouting and does it even matter?
    Your companions should have points on stewart and Medicine
    They also need points on Leadership, Scouting and Tactics

    Try to get low level guys with many points on INT
    Give them the weapons they are the best on (avoid points on combat skills, only do it if said skill becomes capped)
