Personally, I would like to jump in for a playthrough to check on the progress.. (haven't played since 1.2.0). Now that 1.2.4 is "soon", don't want to start a campaign on 1.2.3...
Also, unlike previous versions, where bandits with exclamation icon didn't run away from you, in 1.2 they now run away as any other bandit party, which makes the quest unplayable at later stages of the game. (yeah, I know that you can assign a companion to do that, but sometimes there is just no companion for this quest).
any chance to change it so help with brigands isnt the dominate quest in the game. I think it was 1.2 where id say it changed to come up a ton over others like bandit base.
...it for myself is blurred out.
What gives? Thanks

Thanks to Strat, I solved the mystery. It turns out that my companion had merciful trait and that prevented me from taking over an alley.
Taleworlds, please take note. This type of sh** should really be better expained in tooltips.
Has anyone else having issues with drops in influence. I can´t put my finger on it exactly but I noticed dips of 50. In my current play I have -199, even though I don't think I am doing anything negative. Clearing hideouts, going about my business. I am missing something? I fief keeps being...

Damn.. a bit of downer really... I wish I was able to delegate tactics to my "old fox strategist/advisor" companion..
From RPG perspective I believe it's a missed opportunity. Imagine having your player character being literally the youngest person in the army, yet you are the one making the tactical decisions while your experienced veteran companions have no say in things..
Best situation would be to have both options:
1)I am young and stupid - but I'm the boss and I lead... (think Commodus from "Gladiatior")
2) I am young and stupid - so why don't you, old-timer veteran, help/teach/take over these strategy duties at least for the time being. (Think Henry from "The King")
Hello warriors,
It is not obvious to me - do you must have tactics as a personal skill to improve autocalc?
I am bit annoyed to tag it for myself by default and would rather have a companion responsible for it.
If you have a companion with high tactics can his skill override yours (and...
Thank you.
I guess as such, just starting having doubts after noticing that companions leading their own parties are not really gaining tactics xp. I must have been wrong. Will keep an eye on it
Hi y'all!
Basically, could someone please tell me if:
1) Companions use/level their tactics skill (i noticed it never increases) or is it only a player-utilized skill (are there any skills that are irrelevant for companions)
2) What is minimum combo of attribute and focus points to be able...
