While I think OP did a good amount of effort on the idea, I don't think it would fit and for a very simple reason:
The ottomans existed far later than the timeperiod this game seems to play in.
if we just put in factions that don't fit, it's only a matter of time before this game turns into pirates vs zombies vs samuari fantasy brawl.

Make sure to check your psu is powerful enough for it and has the right pci-e connections.
If it's a prebuilt you will likely have to replace it as well to power it.

Running my r5 2600 with the stock fan and my gpu barely becomes audible (gigabyte windforce 2070 with 3 fans).
No extreme heat or noise.
Not in comparison to other games either.
I do however use compressed air every 2 months to clean it out and replace thermal paste on a yearly basis so that definitely helps.

60c on a cpu and 75 on a gpu in load isn't bad though.
Not for a pc nor a laptop.

Empire and battania almost always win.
Vlandia is usually the first to go down followed by the Sturgians

The only exception to the rule is my current game where Vlandia absolutely destroyed battania with some late war aid from the imperials but by that time it was down to 1 city.
The last contender for the empire is usually the khuzaits.

The R7 2700X doesn't have an IGPU so that can't be the problem.

It's probably the amount of ram.
Close everything when playing the game.
I run an r5 2600 just fine at 4K but have 16GB ram (3200mhz)

It would be nice to have a shatter world button when making a new campaign.
Kinda like how it is done in Crusader Kings II

Why not just reinstall the game? Your saves should be kept anyways.

Sure.

I just don't see how a black African faction (or Indian, or Persian) would make people angry, as long as its aesthetics are reasonably plausible and based on (not exactly as) historical sources.

The part people likely get angered about is that in whatever game or media you go to, people need (OP for example made multiple of the same posts) to have people of colour implemented or elevated beyond what it realisticly was but only in the positive of course.
This rubs quite a few people the wrong way.

Only for workshops. It feels rather pointless and like a long walk when I can just barter from the menu.Not being able to use a horse also doesn't help.
