Of course they are different culturally, and of course we are all human, but you cannot make a comment that can be taken a number of ways, such as "scottish and english are the same" and then qualify it as a purely anthropological sentiment later, thats a load of crap and unfair to the other debaters. You are justified in having an opinion, even if 5 million scots would skin you for it, just be aware that obviously people in this forum other than yourself believe the differences to be significant and may I suggest that you abandon writing in English altogether and perhaps try writing in Gaelic for a while, to fully comprehend the level of similarity between the English and the Scots as the largest minority group in the British isles, with a distinct dialectual, ancestral and cultural difference from their southern neighbours.
In addition, I notice that in defending your apparent lack of age, you havent said what your actual age is, which suggests that while it may not be 15, it probably isnt far off.
