  1. Problem with registeration code

I recently changed my old computer to new and then checked my hotmail account to see the registeration code. I hadn't used hotmail for few months (I use gmail as my active E-mail), so my account was old and when I re-activated it, all the posts were gone. So, how can I get my registeration code?
  2. Mod Idea: A song of ice and fire (ASOIAF)

Pretty sure there is cos a huge LOTR-total conversion for Morrowind was broken down because the copyrights.
  3. "Randomly" Generated World??

Yup, this is getting boring now... You have invested all the places and can't find anything new. In the future, create more "secret" places (dungeons, gold mines, treasure caves etc.) You can't find them without a map or making a huge and difficult quest. And, I would love to see couple of mountain villages (build inside a mountain) you could enter and maybe free some mining slaves or encounter odd monsters living deep in the darkness.
  4. Magic for the masses

Yup, I personally agree with Magnus. If someone adds magic to this game, it should not be something cliché (I didn't spell it right) but something like Lord Of The Rings books. Gandalf actually doesn't cast spells just like that (movies give a little bit wrong idea), casting magic is very difficult and Gandalf usually uses his brains instead of a fireball. Talks to the birds, reads weather from anything and uses special words that servants of the Dark Lord fear.
  5. Arena Contestants

Yep, this has been on my mind also. Lions and tigers, large arenas covered with sand and blood. Make the areas more of Colosseum type, these are boring and you can't get the right feeling on these little cottages fighting some dumbass with a wooden sword. And of course, what more difficult fight, the more money you get. So, get 20 denars for killing a rabbit with 15 marksmen, 3000 denars killing lions and master fighters with some barbarians.
  6. Does mod tools mean that... ?

Pretty sure that modders will upgrade and create patches for their mods even when the game is finished, so I see no problem there.
  7. SP Native The Magnificent Seven v.31 (for .704) *updated* 11/2

This is getting scary, the game is just a beta, and I just can't wait until I get the newest version of your mod. I hope it sucks so I can control my playing a little bit
  8. Working together

I'm pretty sure everyone who has modded before can do some simple textureweapon mods alone but it would be kinda great if some veteran modders could work together and create few TC:s (total conversions), for example a Conan The Barbarian TC or Lord Of The Rings TC would be pretty must, if it's done by a good moddergroup.
  9. Shared serial key.

I know, there is another topics from this. Can my brother play with the same serial key as I? Cos, he bought this for me and i have activated it just once, so doesn't he have the same right to play as I? The problem is, he lives on a another city, so will there be problems if he activates the...
  10. How are your frame-rates per second

With my 700 Athlon I have to minimalize all graphical sliders, so I can even play this game.
  11. Replay System

Great idea though it would need pretty good computer.
  12. The MY WISHLIST - Thread

Skipe's Wishlist (experience from games such as Morrowind & Baldur Gate's. 13 yo finnish boy)

1 - First of all, finish the main game in all peace and with no hurry, it will be seen in the game if you rush and make impossible deadlines.

2 - Make the game as easily modable as you can, try to create very good modding tools too (like TESTool in Morrowind, smaller of course).

3 - Then just let the fans create numerous LOTR and Conan mods, and the playable stuff will never end.
  13. How long?

I would say, endlessly, cos when the last version from devs will come, there will come dev-kit in the same packet and then we can start waiting for mods and maybe after some time even for TC:s (total-conversions, new maps, characters, weapons, worlds).
  14. Some suggestions

About the shields, don't wanna make a new topic for a such small thing as this.

    Archer Protection Shields

Not sure, have anyone ever seen these type of shields in a movie/other game. Basically, you got 1-2 strong shield carriers who carry a large, heavy shield made from wood or other light materia, it could be a little bit curve, so it would protect morel. The purpose for this kind of shield would be protecting archers and other long-range units, archers would stay behind the shield and shoot over it or move a little bit and shoot on the side of it and then return behind it to take cover. This would maybe be very hard to script, and i suggest that we let the devs concentrate to the real game, and let some fan do a mod when the dev-pack is released.
  15. Idea, New Creatures? Ex: Non-Human Foes

    Qla 说:
I think fantasy creatures should be left out.

It would be great fun if you could walk around the map in 3rd person (kinda like in arcanum) or in huge forest maps and there you could hunt animals.
Then you could make armors & food from the skin & meat and then you could use it for your own good or just sell it to merchants.

Good idea, thought if this will happen, you must share the gamearea to cells, so the 3rd person map walking could stay playable.
  16. Idea, New Creatures? Ex: Non-Human Foes

Play A.D.O.M, and just copy everything from that and converse(?) it to 3D and you can't have an all-bad-game.

I agree with the both sides, you should not do the game full of fantasy and etc., but when the dev-kit is released, first thing you would do would be a good and easy mod-selection program, you could select the mods you wanna use (of course, you could use only on TC, total conversion).
  17. The mods you want to see

Well well, first who says this:

Conan The Barbarian - New races in the character creation (hyborian(?), cimmerian etc.) It would be half-fantasy and half-realistic, just like the books and comics.

D&D - Full-fantasy (Dungeons & Dragons), places would be from D&D worlds (Forgotten realms, for an example.) Dragons, orcs, elves and dwarwes, everything fantasy.

Indians & Yankies(?) - Indians: Bows, axes, great combat skills. Yankies: Muskets(?), guns, sabres, lesser combat skills.

Of course, this game is gonna cause an mod-flood when it's finished and there should be pretty good mod-system, so there would be no troubles with different kind of mods, you could use only one mod per character.
  18. Customize(?) Units

There are paths you can take when upgrading units. I can't remember if the watchment/peasants can be upgraded to archers, but both the Vaegir and Swadian units can ultimately become knights, heavy footmen or heavy archers/crossbowmen.

Yes, I know that, and that wasn't the idea of customize units. I thought more of units that you could depend more, would they be barbariac(?) twohanded axe-users or fur covered mongolian type-archers.
I just thought this cos I think that this level system is a little bit boring when time passes.
  19. Customize(?) Units

Just an idea, I haven't thought much about this and don't know that has this been discussed before. Could you make Customize(?) Units to the game? Meaning, you could create own units with a system similar to creating your character in the beginning, a lot simplier althought. For example, you...
