    Auto-block in singleplayer

    if there was a lock-on feature that would allow you to move the mouse to block without moving the camera (like in For Honor, KCD, The Surge 2), then forcing everyone to select block direction manually would make at least some sense. but nope…
    if they want to nerf blocking, here's an option: make attacks faster, and make poorly-timed blocks mitigate only a portion of the damage (like in Sekiro). the industry has already figured these things out, but not TaleWorlds, apparently. what a shame. melee combat was never the strong suit of M&B games, and the lack of auto-direction for blocking just makes it more frustrating.

    I'm not sure if this is possible, but it'd nice to be able to force cavalry units to always keep moving, except when ordered to stand ground or take position. the way it works now, they often just stop riding and start whacking at the enemy from horseback, which is not optimal, and often gets them killed. and when they outnumber the enemy, they do the same thing - surround the enemy, then just stand in place and start hitting each other, rather than the enemy (due to big hitboxes).

    something like this also happens to infrantry - except, instead of surrounding the enemy, they crowd at the backs of each other, essentially bottlenecking their own offensive, allowing even an outnumbered opposition to kill a lot of them. this makes sense on ladders, stairs, or in narrow passages, but not on open fields.

    Ah, this looks great. I wish I could combine this with older mods, such as Diplomacy, or AI mods. I've looked through the files, and found out that, unfortunately, it's not just the matter of copy-pasting and replacing, which makes it quite beyond my skill. :facepalm:

    I wish to suggest some fearutures that, in my opinion, A LOT of players would appreciate:
    • Fix the "indictment bug" - the perpetual loop of lords constantly being indicted or defecting on their own, due to poor relations with their kings (this killed my Native experience).
    • Add autoloot/autosell - an obvious "quality of life" change (present in Diplomacy and Floris).
    • Add a dialog option to sell all prisoners at once - another obvious "quality of life" change (present in Floris).
    • Add an option to prevent weak party members from joining tournaments.
    • Prevent NPCs from ganging up on the player in the Arena (happens randomly, makes it impossible to win).
    Now, onto the features definitely not in the spirit of vanilla Warband, but nontheless useful:
    • Add an option to organize trade caravans (a la WFaS), instead of manually buying and selling everything. This is a self-evident "quality of life" change.

    Looks like my prayers have been answered. I would much appreciate if you did that, sir, and I'm sure that others would, too. Perhaps you'll be willing to merge other essential mods as well?
