Yes airborne are considered to be infantry in every country.
And cavalry refers to armored vehicles, not platoons.

Scimitars?  They are used by Sarranids, not Vaegirs. If you look at troops tree at www.taleworlds.com you will see that marksmen use polearms.
Yeah in sieges there is no difference between knights and guards, but in infantries Vaegir Guards are pretty stupid.
You are right that sometimes AI players can handle with lance but if they hit, one hit-ko 

Most of the factions are in balance. (Khergits, Sarranids,Swadians, Nords)
Rhodoks are the best.
Vaegirs are the worst faction in game. Let me explain why.

-Their marksmen do not have shield and carry polearm as a close combat weapon which means in any close contact, they are corpse 
-Their guards have shield. But usually they attack with two hand axe at hand. Very vulnerable to my sharpshooters
-Their knights have axes which is very poor for cavalries. They don't carry lance.

Dude, when you become stronger, every factions turn to be your enemy. Even after a while your king.

FYI, SSP are the crappiest xbow troops in Calradia. Proficiency is at 120, melee weapon is usually a sword(which sucks even at their PS 3) and they're slow as slugs. Even merc xbows are better shots and runners. As for RSP, they'z rule! xbow prof at 140, melee profs at 110, athletics at 6, IF and PS at 4, best infantry shields in Calradia, plus the hammers and picks, which are simply murderous. These guys are death machines!

Same goes for their sarges. I don't know what makes you think that Swad sarges are good in any way. From what I've seen from their lower tiers, their stats likely suck just as much as Vaegir guards. Not to mention that they follow the stupid Swadian fashion and are armed with swords. Rhodok sergeants, on the other hand, are just as well armored, with better shields, better stats, and armed with picks, hammers and cleavers. Rhodok high tier troops are essentially murder on feet. Not to mention that their vet spearmen are quite dangerous too. I mean, just when you see them your know you're in trouble.

Well not greatly reduces the speed but because it covers your kness it slows you down a bit. And the region where Hoplites lived is in Southern Europe. As you know it's pretty hot. Therefore it's more comfy to wear miniskirts You remember British and German troops in Africa who wear shorts instead of trousers. It's quite similar although South Europe is not that hot.

Yes they ruin  But in fight it is vital to be able to run fast. If they were wearing trousers it would be more difficult to move freely. And since the areas around waist are not risky for human life any armor is not necessary. They just wear miniskirts to hide their dicks that is all.

It would be a very stupid act to wear cloak in battles. Your cloak may decrease your agility and speed if it is pulled by an enemy.

Yeah, all Swadians carry shields like all Rhodok units. That's vital in sieges. Swadian sergeants and Rhodok sergeants look very similar. They carry one handed weapon, shield and a polearm. But the difference is that Rhodok sergeants mostly knock enemies unconscious which means you can later sell them to ransom brokers. This helps much to make money

Savaşta tabiki de İslam'ın etkisi vardır. Bunu Atatürk'ün sözlerinde de bulabilirsiniz. Askerlerin savaşma azmi, bağımsızlık tutkusu konusunda dinin ne kadar önemli olduğu açıktır. Ben sadece Çanakkale'de gavur vs. İslam gibi bir çatışma olmadığına değiniyorum.
Ayrıca Araplar'ın ihaneti konusuna gelirsek, Araplar'ın hepsi Osmanlı'ya karşı savaşmamıştır. Osmanlı saflarında savaşanlarda vardır, tarafsız kalan da. As for SS: yes. As the war progressed, Nazi-Germany loosened its racial requirements for SS divisions (at the end of the war, people were even drafted into the SS). There was indeed a Turkish SS unit (the guys in the picture are clearly SS, as the Totenkopf was only worn by SS), as well as SS units from other foreign countries far and near. Why, there was even an Indian SS unit by 1944.

I remember Hanzar Divisions in Africa. But it did not consist of Turks, it did consist of African Muslims I guess. There may be few Turks who joined Nazis though. But not so appreciable.

Turks in Soviet soil were soldiers of USSR to fight Nazis. After they are captured they were forced to fight against Soviets for Nazis. But in general Turks did not give a **** about WW2. There were some Nazi sympathizers among politicians and military and some Soviet sympathizers among political pundits, authors and poets. But they were not militants, just sympathizers. It's clear that Turks, especially Turkey were neutral until February 1945.

It's told that Hitler believed that Turks were from Aryan race too. But it's bull****. Most of Judaic Turks were living in todays Ukraine, especially the region around Odessa, Black Sea coast and Hitler murdered all of them.
