    Notice how after awhile you tend to win Marshall voting?

    I think the real way to end the game would be to after conquering the entire map for 1 faction, proceed to have a civil war to overthrow the current ruler, just like the claimant arc.

    Once you're the total ruler of Caldaria is then the game truly at the end.

    Will a faction's claimant still spawn? I'm led to understand claimants don't spawn in any town/castle of the claimant's faction.

    How to win a siege

    Sadly for me, the only way to win a town siege is to cheat, ie use a poleaxe near the tip of the ladder and chop away. That's before I cut down the archer barrage with 54 arrows first.

    Otherwise the AI is too stupid to get up the ladder and gets cut to pieces before they even do anything.

    Castle sieges not so bad, most of the maps have really wide ramps, except one castle (Nords) which has a double wall; the AI just can't manage 3 horribly small ladders.

    Ah... in my exuberance I forgot that the remaining faction had a few lingering lords and the message that the faction was wiped out didn't happen yet :evil:

    Not sure my save can take the pain tho. Seems everytime I load this game, the rgl_log.txt file fills up and the game "freezes" while doing that, sometimes as long as 10 seconds.

I did notice one thing tho... after conquering the last castle, the game starts to really slow down and...

    Version 0.960 bug reports

    I refer u to support threads like http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,43332.0.html and http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,40462.0.html

    Searching the support forum will uncover several similar (and unresolved) posts like these. All seem to revolve around the aftermath of large battles and a swamped message system.

    As there is no official word in these threads, I'm concerned it's not resolved in 1.0 as well. This worries be greatly as in a late-game phase, it's not uncommon to find nearly all the lords hunkered down in a single castle or town and upon defeating said bunker one would naturally spam the Continues for escaped lords, thereby presumably (if u go by those threads) spamming the message system to death.

    Thus nearly all late-game players with late game saves will be shafted since the chances of alot of lords in a single castle/town increases as the faction continues taking losses; therefore the chances of ur game borking increases the further u get into the game.

    U're right. The log repeats this line ad infinitum:

    i don't think it's mentioned cuz i think it's well known.....anybody agree?

    btw i'm not entirly sure if this works, but logically if you have 2 language installed on your pc, e.g. english and french, and when entering a charater's name, press ctrl+spacebar, this will change your langeuage between english and french, so this might work in M&B charater screen, and as a result allows you to enter names in other language, like french or german even chinese or japanese( and NO they are NOT the same).

    with ppl like u there's no need for lists like this. since everything is well known in ur eyes :roll:

    Favorite Polerarm

    I voted Scythe but I actually use a Military Scythe. Its damage stats are higher than the Poleaxe, exchanging for about 30 reach, and that huge blade reminds me of the huge halberds of Chinese lore. It's perfect for dual use too, in sieges or horseback, a great mix of everything. Tho if I had a choice I'd go with a War Spear for horseback (reach + thrust dmg). Not sure what polearm would be ideal for sieges but it'd obviously have the best swing and reach mix.

    What's the favoured one-handed polearm?

    About the Melee Fights

    We're talking about the arena fights no? Seeing as how it's so much harder than the tourney (which I can easily get 4k+ out of), the arena should award exponentially based on how many I can take out. Seems imbalanced.

    Like how the training area trainings like 3-9 exp, but a stroll around the map with 8 heroes having training of 3-4 earns thousands a day.
