    Favorite Troops To Edit INTO Your game?

    Is there a way to make lords use new units you edit into the game?
    I used troop editor(v1.9) to add some elite troops to the d'shar and no one is using any of them..

    For now i edited the whole dshar archer line and removed ALL bows from dshar faction, guaranteed them cavalry and giving them sabres and lances..  They are weak although still better than the dervishes.
    Windriders are now pure lancers wrecking havoc before the d'shar infantry comes in.

    try closing random stuffs in your pc, or just close everything

    Those legionaries can throw and smash any infantry army.

    If blademen/masters survive the "throw", those legionaries get smashed instead in a few moments(although crossbowmen will probably snipe every dshar to death while they're fighting)

    To OP, set difficulty higher, unless you're godlike and can solo an army, it's improbable that will happen

    For some reason, when i siege Windholme and got the city, it told me to "Liberate Lethaldiran and its villages", not sure if its just my imagination

    Its not actually hard to defend, it just takes a really really long time. I could leave my pc running for an hour defending the city, and my troops would probably only kill like 300++ troops, when there's a thousand plus, thats really a problem

    Anyone notice that defending Valonbray from sieges is painfully slow? It takes hours just to defend it against the enemy. they trickle in one by one pass the outer wall, and even sometimes getting stuck at the outer ladder. So, my question , is there a way to fully take out the outer wall...

    nope, it just kinda happened in a siege, tried to pick up a shield, dropped my zweihander, pick that up, dropped my axe, pick the axe, and get that.. lol

    A hybrid of a Zweihander and a Masterwork Ravenstern Battle Axe, No idea how it happen, didn't get the chance to check its range and damage though, A broadhead spear came straight into my head seconds after this screenshot

    When trying to dismiss them, the top left icon always disappears, although it seems to correctly use the "dismissal cost" of the one you intent to get rid of.

    one way i found to dismiss the edicts properly is to,
    1:have an edict you wan to dismiss from the top part
    2:find it on bottom part(where you choose to enact edicts)
    3:Click on it, then click on the top(the same edict)
    4:Click dismiss.... :grin:

    they are spamming my town with about 40-50nobles per day, and i currently have 1500+ nobles in ryibelet castle, so now i'm on a spree of suicide attacks on tihr, to cut them down(it seems like a waste to just disband them) Good news, i got the town after 1000 adenian squires dead Bad news...

    Betrayal!!!

    I caught all vaegirs lord and put them inside reyvadin and then just waited for the faction destroyed alert. I then recruited about 10 of them into my faction and then by the next day all of them asked for fiefs, Obviously i rejected :lol: and just clicked on through the same dialogs several times. By the end of it, only 2 of them have positive relations left and all the others defecting to another factions and surprise, 4 of them went to the dark knights.

    btw, why does my npc lord only have 80+ army when he owned rivacheg and curaw and 4 castles, with both of the cities at a very rich prosperity

    Rhodocks spear knights are like a suicide squad.. they charge, couch whatever paladin is in front of them, kill one or two more, and then gets unhorsed and die . You'll just have to be patient at the occasional spear knight has been killed by footmen messages

    too much archers though, will just render half of them useless as some of them are either clumped down on a valley or at each side of the battle map, unless you send them charging to the walls, which i recommend you to do, if you have lots and lots of patience to train them up all over again

    For example - party of ~40 high-level troops vs a ~35 caravan = 1 loss with tactics 9 (7 on character + 2 bonus).  Clearly you still lose guys you wouldn't if you participated, but, on the other hand, you are not participating :smile:

    I gotta believe that with tactics 10 (+4), it gets really good.  It's an underrated skill, too - battle advantage seems to scale based on the number of guys, so reducing it by a couple of points is a huge deal.  An example - with this same guy with tactics 7, in a battle of 40 vs 400, I get outnumbered at worst 2-1 on the battlefield, which is huge, since it makes that battle easy.

    Another example - try looting a village with ~5 guys.  Without tactics, you're likely to have 1 guy to help.  With middling tactics, you may get all 5.


    Oh, one more note on autocombat - you seem to get a LOT more prisoners that way.  In a test vs 25 sea raiders, I got 7 prisoners...  vs 45 I got 20 prisoners, though I did actually lose ~10 guys (out of the same 40).

    Tactics are kinda useless when you play with battlesizer

    2) Is the Huskarl armour meant to be so damn powerful? It's like 4000 denars, and it's the best in the game...

    1:I don't know
    2:for the ones i have seen, the best armor would be the black armor, lootable from black knights, followed by heavy plate armor and then huscarl armor
    3: troops are specific on each factions town/villages, even if they are conquered by other factions, you still recruit the same type of troops as the old one. This is the same for glory troops, It only differs for where you built the required building. You can check the troops available at the stick-ied troop tree list
