    You have to modify it in every type of mission. Sieges for instance are right below the normal battle missions I believe.

    That's correct. But your avatar isn't a cat. It's a kitten. Kittens are cute, smiling fluffy balls of joy. And look, the one on your avatar is smiling.

    Why do you think he's smiling? Because he has just decapitated a mouse. That's his kind of humour.

    Then it will probably not work. There's too many things you don't know if the .txt files are very different from each other. I had the same with The Wedding Dance. I guess you should ask the modder if he sees the benefit of adding the functionality to his mod. Keedo has already worked it out, so point to this thread :grin:

    @fawzia

    Speaking with the captured villagers gave me the impression that they all had to run for the door in order to be saved. Which gives a few problems (the tied up ones not being able to move, the freed prisoners having trouble finding their way). This made me spend a lot of time trying to talk to the villagers while in the mean time everyone else got slaughtered and I ended up facing an entire army of the black crosschurch.

    It wouldn't be a wrong assumption to think that more people will get the objectives wrong with the current implementation. :smile:

    Maybe more fitting:

    "Sneak in alone and defeat all the Black Cross torturers, so that your men can safely evacuate the prisoners."

    But then you can ask yourself, why not just barge in with your entire army and put everything that wears latex to the sword. No no, there has to be a reason to go in alone... Maybe the old "if you stampede into it, they will kill the prisoners instantly." rule that works on so many sneak games in existance?

    Ah that clarifies stuff, Rosha.

    Maybe it's a good idea to state in the text of the dungeon-quest that you have to make sure the prisoners remain unharmed instead of you having to rescue them.

    "We don't know in what state the villagers are. Some may not even be able to walk. Just go in there quickly and slaughter any of those Black Cross bastards you find while protecting the prisoners. I will send medical aid for those poor souls when the coast is clear."

    Funny thing is, in the code the common functions are declared at the top, however, they are executed whenever they are called upon in the code itself. So in the .txt file they appear under every type of mission.

    What works is checking the numbers that are the variables of the function you're looking for. In the case of common_battle_check_victory_condition = (1, 60, t_once, ...) the 1, 60 combination only appears for that particular function.

    Seems to be variables to determine the losses you get for retreating. You can replace them both. You don't want the retreat to occur anyway, no matter how severe or how insignificant the troop losses are.

    It is possible, though not with all mods. What you have to do is type the stuff into the module system, have it create the text files, then find the line in the text file corresponding to the code you've changed and copy+paste that in the text file of the mod.

    I can tell you it doesn't work with the Wedding Dance :wink: Look through this topic, there's one example of the code and it's form in the .txt file.

    Another bug btw:

    *When you pick a darker skin for your female character (haven't tried a darker skinned male yet) the skin colour that's part of the... less covering armors is the normal lighter skin. Don't know if it's possible that you can change the colour of the 'armor' depending on the skin color of your character though...
