    I have encountered something similar when modding game menus, where if you add a new menu item in for instance the "visit town" menu and don't put it at the end of the list eg
    go to castle
    "your menu item"
    visit the marketplace
    visit tavern
    enter arena
    leave

    it messes up the numbers when using passages whilst in a scene.

    If this is what is going on in your mod just remove all your modded menu items and add them just before the "leave" option or "go back" etc

    Hi
    Just wondering if anyone knew how to make a certain agent within a scene jump forward a few paces.
    By jump I mean physically jump (not teleport or respawn).
    I have code that makes the agent run to a specific entry point from their spawn point, but i need him to jump a gap and then continue running.

    Hey guys

    Finished reading the final book last week, really amazing ending, I'm just a little upset that there are no more books, its like saying goodbye to a friend your never gonna see again... well, Until I pick up The Eye of the World again.

    Just wondering how things were going with the mod and whether there were any interesting developments as well as whether Mat needs help with anything.

    :cry: it still doesn't work.
    I downloaded the The_Gathering_Storm_v027a_Full - 148 mb
    and the The_Gathering_Storm_V027abcd - 7.26 mb
    extracted them put into modules folder and replaced all files in the first with the second,
    Mod runs but channeling doesn't work properly, sometimes weaves are produced especially if i bring up the minimap and close it whilst aiming but these are a few random weaves and the seekers i produce attack me.
    Also the random weaves can be ones i have not learned yet.
    Otherwise it just shoots the missile and sometimes plays a sound.
    Note when firing "blanks" no stamina is removed.

    I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make captured villages produce units of the new faction or where it has been done before.

    Also I would like to know if it is possible to make one faction spawn more recruits from their villages than another faction.

    HELLO YOU MAGNIFICENT PEOPLE
    I have known about this mod for a while (1 and a 1/2 years now and i think it is one of the best mods out there (if not the best in my opinion) I got an older copy during early 2011 and loved it. The last two weeks or so i have caught up with whats going on with the mod and things are looking awsum, unfortunately I have a problem with the channeling.
    When I play as a channeller I get the one power and the required skills and learn the weaves(as I get the messages on map world) but during the game my channelling does nothing except fire a missile and play a sound only half the time, i tried pressing different keys and such and random weaves appeared a couple of times so i know the graphics work.
    The weaves dont even work properly in custom battles and this is a shame (it sucks) coz without channelling ... well .... you know.
    I downloaded the files a couple of times but still channelling doesnt work and i have tried it on both my laptop and normal pc.
    I'm in need of help

    ps I would really like to help with the modding (dont be fooled by my rank i dont go on the forum everyday but i can mod)
    I have made a couple of  mods - just for personal use (coz the use meshes and such from other mods) and they have all worked well and did what i wanted such as 16 factions and one even had 14 different skins, as well as added items and definitely awsum custom made scenes.

    pps i also endorsed the mod
    again,  Nice Work,  Robert Jordan would be proud

    Yes, it is a reference to the skins. Ragdolls problem can be caused by using of agent scale, esp when it's bigger then 1.0 .

    In the skins file I changed all my skeletons to skel_human 1.000000 (i think this is what you are talking about) but it still changed nothing...

    To start off I solved my problem with the fog in scene (it was one of the 200 meshes in scene, I had to delete one by one till I found out which one it was)

    I need to rewrite my question on the skeleton issue,
    when a unit is killed either the rag doll stuffs up or the death animations cause the stuff up (by stuff up I mean the skeleton starts to shake around like crazy with its legs, arms and weapons all shifting and rotating around) this may be due to different skeletons acting the animation of death (due to the different locations of the "bones" , the stange thing though is that the original human skeletons do this also?)
    At first this problem was not too bad I could live with it but know it is reallly annoying and reallly frustrates me.

    Also I want to add my own music to the mod it does not work , I add the new music line to the module_music.py and compile it but it still does not work, I run the game and it woks but the music does not play, i get the same problem with sound as well.

    hey again
    I made an error in my questions up above, I did add new skins but I also added new skeletons and Ithink these are what are causing the random body jerking upon death (note that the skeletons all work fine except when a unit is killed)

    Also wondering about uploading images can you select an image and upload it from the desktop or documentsand if so how to specifically.

    okay so heavy on questions this time,
    Firstly how do you put an image up on this forum I tried using the insert image but that didn't work and ... um ....yeah

    Secondly I added new skins into my mod and now every time someone dies their body starts to dance and jerk all over the place for 13
    seconds then freezes I tried changing the animations for death but the bodies still jerk around how do you fix this?

    Thirdly the new skins I added for some reason are listed as female in the characters folder and when menus come up, even though the start up(eg as young life changed - squire etc)  has them as male as well as when courting ladies and such. How can i make them male?

    Fourthly where do you find the codes for naming lords when they defect eg jarl aidan becoming aidan noyan because i would like to change these values.

    and Finally how do you change the map icons of castles and towns manually because thorgrims map editor doesn't allow me to change icons.

    Hello fellow modders
    My mod goes reasonably well with a few hiccups here and there,
    one major issue I need help with relates to scenes.
    I have a scene which is a town centre but half of the scene is covered in some gray fog.(hard to explain)
    When I open the editor the fog goes away but playing as the main character the fog returns.
    I have no idea if it relates to the height of the character in scene or something and I am close to giving up and
    completely recreating the scene.

    please help if you can

    Yeah, I have no idea how that got tere  :neutral: Obviously I didn't install it there and it does not save the games there. Those go here: C:\Users\David\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband Savegames so in Documents not AppData. Weird as hell.

    In my case Thorgrim's saves somewhere else... Search the "...Users\your_user\AppData\..." for map.txt and parties.txt and once you found them just copy them to your mod's folder.

    If it's not this... I don't know.
