    But it's much better if you add them with script_recruit_troop_as_companion in the first place, and not whatever shortcut you use.

    Thanks! Didn't know about that script and I've got it working now. I was just using party_add_members, only been at this a few days.  :smile:

    Hey all

    I was wondering if it is possible (and if so how) to stop particular companions spawning in taverns. I would like the player to be able to choose a companion to start the game with, which I've achieved, but I haven't figured out how to stop a duplicate of that companion still randomly appearing in towns. When you talk to them they will say they are ready to leave, as if you had just hired them. I don't wish to stop all companions spawning in towns, only the custom ones that I have made. Any ideas?

    Edit: Using module system.
