Hi guys
I have a ported mac copy of M&B: Warband, it works absolutely fine, i even installed the native expansion module. I got some mods off of the chinese website, since I know chinese.
I want to add these armor and weapons into the native expansion. But as my computer is a mac, I cannot use item editing tools or troop editors.
I have crossover and using bottles I tried to use these editors, but not much success. So I added mods manually and i got the items to appear in the game by modifying the item_kinds1.txt. I then use the cheatmenu's find items to get these items ingame, but then i have to place my added weapons above the current items near the end of the file which means the order is slightly screwed up.
So basically, can anyone tell me why my items range(the second line) in the item_kinds1.txt won't update? I've already tried a new game. The original Native expansion has 849 items, so i then added 7 mods so it becomes 856. But in game, when using the cheat menu, it still says the range is 847 not 854 (-2 because they don't count invalid or end item). Thank you.
