    Also, since that engine appears to allow mixing textures, use much more subtle blending and variety.  It's just like painting up a scene in Warband, where you want to use mixes of the various textures to introduce a lot of real-world randomness.  This matters a lot when you view things at a distance- a little subtle variation between pure "grass" and "dirt" makes a big difference.
    I just learning today how to do it.

    @ilovemyhedgehog:  Still way too saturated, and whatever texture is being used doesn't tile nicely, see the bright bands in the green.  I don't know anything else about how that map is being rendered, so I can't comment otherwise.
    Its a default texture that came with the engine i use.

    :razz: I made a few test bakes on a simple mesh if your interested. Nothing fancy, just shows how it works. Has a few low poly meshes, the original high poly, and all the different bakes.
    The problem is I want the wall to have alpha transparencies.
    For windows or something else? If you have big holes its much better to just model them in. Alpha transparancies are not a nice thing for engines generally.

    No no. When doing High to Low, only the low has to be mapped.

    Good so far, but it has some bad shading issues. Beveling some edges wouldn't hurt.
    Around the outer wall right?

    It' great, and pretty easy to make.

    If you're using Blender, you can do the following:

    1-With a blank workspace go to Add>Mesh>Cylinder;
    2-Set the proper height (at the size of the wall) and width;
    3-Select the middle point of the upper circle and move it upwards;
    4-Select the entire mesh (hit "A") and flip the normals;
    5-Decorate it as you please.

    Yeah. All you have to do is scale down uniformly until it automatically inverts
