  1. Beta Patch Notes v1.2.0-v1.2.4

    Did some of you also encounter a problem with the stash after you toke over a rebel town in Beta 1.2.1?
    Its a new campaign and i had the opportunity to get lageta from the lageta rebels but i only see the menu entries for "visiting the hall", "go to the dungeon", "manage the garrison" and "back to the city". (hope they are the right options, i play in german :smile:)

    "open stash" is missing. Someone has an idea? A search in the support forum only showed a similar bug ages ago which was fixed back then...

    Thx, will try that, but if thats the problem for freezes , i dont know. Had no such things in 1.7.1
    Problem with hideout seems to be:
    Mercenary --> everythings fine --> leave kingdom --> Hideout freezes.
    Also if i join a kiongdom afterwards, it seems here is a odd bug wichis breaking this :-/

    i think this is intended behavior of the "Stop game on focus lost" option
    you can disable this in Options >> Gamplay
    Thx, will try that, but if thats the problem for freezes , i dont know. Had no such things in 1.7.1

    i had one soft lock in the game but i cant remember if it was a hideout or something else
    but i did a few (15 or so ) hideouts over the map and they worked fine
    that said
    the campain AI is horrible in 1.7.2
    endless back and forth between villages
    ignoring armies they could easily defeat
    otoh suicideing or not helping another army

    Edit: what i found interresting was the western empire was sieging Quyaz with 1k army
    there came a 500 man Aserei army and engaged , broke of after some time so the WE had to few to continue the siege
    was this intended AI desicion or pure luck ?
    Thx for sharing your experience. It seems when the game is running several times and sometimes i had tp alt+tab out, it starts that the faces only showing the lips, sometime after that hideout, i hat such a freeze. This time i alt*tabbed out and as i retunred it was at the "save and option screen",.....hmmm i have no clue

    Hi all,
    did someone of you also encountered problems after fighting in the hideout? First i was defeated early game (new campain with 1.7.2) and the game hung up after i clicked the "done" button. Ok, i thought maybe just one hideout or kind of. Then i tried several more times and it allways frozze after the click on "done".
    Interestingly its not crashing, it just freezes. I can alt+tab out, everything else is fine. Just bannerlord got hung.
    I also checked the game files over the steam game-menu, all fine there.
    Any ideas?

    edit: somehow my save game seems it was the problem. deleted it, startet new game, after a while he found a hideout and it was possible as usual,... hm,..
  6. 1.5 Broken for me

    Hmmmm i was not pacient enough - waited only 4 minutes. After second try and about 5 minutes it loaded sucessfully.
    I deleted old save files, wanted to start a new campaign alt+tab'ed to copy the chars code and switch back "broke" it somehow. Didnt showed any char, skill selection didnt swith between joices, it seems to hung and skills where shownhighlighted additionally not changing. Seems alt+tab isnt a good idea anymore :smile:

    We are aware of some issues with party creation. Unfortunately, we didn't get a fix ready for this week's hotfix. Hopefully, we can address it in the upcoming one. Having said that, there are currently holidays in turkey, which may slow us down a little.

    It seems that after i assigned the brother to the governor of a settlement, and i reached clan rank 3 he is available. Doesnt know if its the rank up or the time as governor. At least he is shown in the list (but says governors cant be assinged - yeeah, i know that but iam far away to reach the settlement an test it if i remove him as governor [and no time to test it today] :wink: )

    Btw. Has someone also encountered that you cant fom a party with your brother?
    - after family quest
    - he was in party an (suprisingly) also in an army from another lord
    - was caught
    - but now iam not able to assign him once more as a party leader, neither to lead a caravan?!
    Quite a nice char, would like him to fight beside me.....

    ah, before i forget, it seems i clicked the dialogue to fast - hes waiting for an decision?!?

    Added two more patch notes that were accidentally omitted:
    • Fixed a bug that caused problems with health regeneration.
    • Adjusted some village productions. Visual adjustments will follow shortly.

  10. [1.4.3] Very slow health Regeneration

    In my case it never was "super", let's say if you are at 50% you'll still need to "wait" in a town for 1 full day or so. But I like this actually, so, getting injured means something, and I did find myself sending troops way more than I did before in order to avoid it. Besides, I was even forced to start a tournament without full health in order to deal with money issues in the initial phase of the campaign, so, this slower rate creates interesting mechanics (making the game harder, sure...)
    Good point and yeah, you are right!
    But if you are early game, trying to get clan rank 2 and attack every looter or bandit out there its a pain in the ass.
    If you are below 30% its somehow perpetuating your low health. After the 5 fight with low health - yeah, it still means something - but you wont be a effective and usefull soldier out there. And for only commanding its boring to load thef fight only to push 4 or 5 F1-10 -keys

    Or as an idea or enhancement request - maybe there should be a bath with a medic in the towns. Where iam able to pay a for a treatment wich gets me healed. With some logic that i cant gain more then 25% for one treatment and not more then 2 in a week, or i can go there more often but the healing bonus would decrease,.. 2nd time is only 20%, 3r time 15% and so on,...
    Would also match the post roman setting with their baths

    We have a fix for the trade issues in the works. We will also examine health regen, though, this may not be a bug but a matter of balance (a bug was fixed with it that may have shifted things from what people were used to - but i am not sure yet).

    Regarding "auto win sieges" is this something you personally experience? Do you have any savegame prior to it happening?

    For crashes, as long as people are uploading the dumps we will resolve them from most common to least common.

    @Concomitant could you please provide a savegame where you are experiencing the issue?

    I have no problems if this some sort of "re-balancing" but then there should be a solution where i can boost the healing rate - for example with 2,3 or even a 4th medic in my troops.
    But i only can say, 2 arent enough early in the game, already tried it with a new, clean campaign. So now its worse then in 1.4.2 wich is kinda game breaking when you want to fight and not only simulate fights.

    assuming this is not a bug with healing rate, i think TW did what they did to prevent killing looters early game with horse and bow. In any case, it looks like a bad call overall, i used a console to boost healing skill to max, because i was hoping it will get better. But, sadly, it did not. As it now the fastest way to heal is to sit in the town, which is not always possible if a character is in the army or leading one.
    I think it's a bug.
    Bow and horse is boring :wink:
    I just want to kill some with shild and axe or mace. But if i have to wait for an ingame week to be fully healed my clan gets rank 2 in 5 weeks realtime :razz: (and yes, iam joking, but it feels like this long time)

    Hmmm may i asked how you achieved a moderate healing rate?
    I played warband for thousands of hours many years - but as i said in another thread, i registered minutes ago only to get a hint how to push that rate up.

    I started a clean 1.4.3 campaign. I leveled the medicine skill to 25 for the bigger health perk (but its same without that perk, even the faster rate) got 1 medic with 82 if iam remembering right. He got the medic role in the clan section. I got a 2nd medic for the (as i see it) additional "party member" rate.Still only some % per day.
    Another new campaign. Lvl 25, a medic with around 60 or so. Preventive perk, in a town where it shows the 10+ bonus,....but also not really a "fast" rate.
    Or is there a "super-healing" companion out there i didnt find yet?

    Please adjust the healing rate for the Hero. The current recovery system is simply bad. It takes a week to recover from the wounds, even with 288 in Healing. Too long, too slow, feels bad.
    THIS. Its really game breaking if you try to stand on the front line.
    In my case everybody is healed and ready for battle - but not myself. With only 27% health for example it is often difficult to kill one looter.
    Alltough i played warband for several years with thousands of hours, this healing rate in 1.4.3 made me register on the forum only to support users with same opinion:razz:
