Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 4 - Flexible Entries

It's very bad that the company don't share any information with it's followers about the progress they are making in the time between the posts (which is alot of time) ... and the other thing i noticed is that this style of information sharing is since the awards for indie games had passed , before the awards they kept contact with people and that was obviously a form of populism

P.S don't get me wrong i love M&B and that's why i am so passionate about the development i want to know what is happening and this lack of information is killing me

Yeah what sort of bellend decides to actually make the game before they release it?
Bannerlord development was Announcement on September 27, 2012 yet most of the users demand something average in technical side , so they can run it on all kinds of PC's , SO I believe that ACTUALLY making a game should happen in shorter periods of time ,  given that they give no signs of soon release it could get over 2 years of development ... for what ?

Do not make superbly sophisticated graphics , just fix the part where you feel that events start to repeat themself , Warbard is a masterpiece so you should not really change the basic concepts so 2 years for not making something entirely new is a hell alot of time

And after all the thing that is made easier for modders is a genious move !

I think the hype for the game is decreasing , due to Taleworlds hesitation to release it allready ..

-PLEASE include GORE in the game , it is unrealistic when you charge with great speed and slash an unarmored person for him to only fell on the ground
But only if it comes realistic and bugfree. In one mod, the implementation of head-cuts led to every enemy losing his head once you ticked it with a weapon. It is generally rather improbable that you come to slice your opponent in pieces in the heat of battle. In history, it was even a challenge for executioners to decapitate smoothly with a sword when the victim just kneeled motionless.
I don't mean only head cutting , you can cut legs for example when you slice enemies while charging them at high speed with a long blade for example.

-And you should have the option of editing your house (which of  course would cost lots of money) like for example in "Fable: the lost chapters"  there you can upgrade the interior and there is also an option to give your house for rent , which i guess won't be a bad idea either ...
            Some other ideas
-Sailing should be available like in some modules (but there are 2 kinds of sailing i have encountered in mods. the simpler is just when you step on a water , your party "avatar" changes into a ship. The second is more realistic => i like it more , is when you could buy a ship in town's harbor) so pretty much like the house , you should be able to edit your ship's view and his statistics like speed , endurance , etc. (I'm supporting sailing so much because it represents a great part of the Northern people's history , that's like Khergits without steppes and horses and Sirranids without desserts and camels [which too should be added ].)
-When you are the vassal of some village , it would be nice to have the option of choosing how the tax would be pain - money or production.
-PLEASE include GORE in the game , it is unrealistic when you charge with great speed and slash an unarmored person for him to only fell on the ground (There could be an option of turning of/on the gore in case someone couldn't take it).
-When you are camping it would be great if you could organize something like practice tournament between your party (archery, weapon fighting, melee fights) and thus improve the skill of the currently selected discipline.
-Melee fighting could be improved , especially when you are  not weighted down by heavy armor , i think the kicking should be made with the system of striking - low kick from left/right and the normal kick, and when the low kicks are performed with high speed , the opponent (if he has less strenght than the attacker) may fall on the ground.
And one last Suggestion , which i am not sure people would agree on , so it could be discussed (after all the more people happy, the better  ) When for example spear penetrates your armor - the armor stays that way (having it's statistics reduced a little bit) until you went to the blacksmith who can fix it , BUT ! every time he fixes it , naturally the quality get's worse from the original , thus your statistics are not perfectly restored to its original , but reduced a little bit.

Hello, Can you please make dual-weilding able in the new M&B !

If they tempt to keep the current combat system, duel wielding is not possible.
If you move your mouse right, then "both" the swords go right, if you move it up, then both go up. It would look stupid.
You would need 2 mouses to control 2 swords in Mount and Blade.

Oh my God, that would be so awesome.

    A revolution in gaming.

Actually it's not that new ... watch "Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy: Two Lightsabers " on youtube , if they could copy the moves just a little bit and make it more realistic i would look pretty awesome and you'll still need 1 mouse !

If you wish to make this game perfectly epic i think it is a good idea to add music like these soundtracks of the game Tzar (2000) These masterpieces are composed by your Bulgarian Colleagues in the dawn of Bulgarian game industry, i hope you enjoy them
