    Sorry i didn't Specify when you are a freelancer and don't own Castles or Towns and you simply want/need to do a delivery quest or get somewhere fast you either go slowly(with hope on your heart) or you have to disband your army i just wanted to get that speed boost of being alone and somewhere to stash your troops while you "take a walk"

    Any News on Elephants ?

    1)Any option to "leave" the troops somewhere so you could travel fast ?
    2)Prisioners are going to be like viking conquest that depends on party size ?
    3)Since it is like "class trips" what about roads ? Towns, Castle and Villages could build roads that are safer(bandits tend to avoid but when the order is low they will try to ambush parties on roads) and faster(it would be a cool option a constant fog of war that all you can see is what your spotting skill allows or all that belongs to you) and works like a way to find other Towns, Castle and Villages.....

    In WB I think the timing issue was translated by including everyone who was willing to fight and a certain distance from the battle. So if there was a close by party when you engaged another party you would have to fight both right off the bat. Although the distance was not very significant.

    As for the blog, all good news. I would have liked to see more customization in regards to specific units, and I agree with an above comment that suggested having no leadership role. I think it would be cool to have  visuals for the commands that you would be receiving from your commander. Like an arrow pointing at the position he wants you to hold, or a red circle around the unit or group of units that he wants you to target. Then you would have to learn how to hold a formation, and move with a group. Probably too much to develop. Maybe for a mod though. After all this game can't be everything everyone wants or it truly would take forever to make. Or maybe stuff like that is already set up for the captain system.

    That they allow i know but you can just keep baiting the smaller groups that are faster and defeating smaller groups
    Trying to keep the realism that some battle take hours and many times they were just buying time for a bigger army

I can already see it, a charismatic bandit leader pops up, starts to amass a bandit army, recruiting other lesser bandit leaders and their bands to follow him and crushing those who don't. That's what I imagine a bandit king acting like.

    I also like the idea of not all bandits working together (unless united by a ruler), a bandit fears another bandit party just as much as anyone else. Most of the time they will probably just pass each other with nary a grunt of acknowledgement, however if one party is feeling particularly confident or the other party is weak/small then they might try to force the other party to join them or be crushed. I'm not an expert on medieval era criminology but I don't think every single bandit in the land will be buddy-buddy with each other.

    Besides larger, and perhaps more well-equipped, bandit parties might help spice up the mid-late game and keep bandits more relevant. Maybe the formation of larger parties under 'bandit kings' only happens after a certain amount of time?.

    That and maybe the amount of bandit parties could be linked to the general prosperity and or the dissatisfaction of the nearby fiefs (because it have been mentioned quite a few times now that there can be revolts and the like so I'm guessing there is a sort of complacency factor in the game). So a poor, upset village will produce more bandits than a wealthy, happy village.


    Bandits have to come from somewhere right?.

    If i remember bandit groups spawn from hideouts those hideouts themselves would be a isolated faction. some would spawn from villages as well(optionally the hideout could grow with more traps and defensive structures but has more loot the more they crush villagers/villages and other bandit parties)

    Well i don't see why a Viking party would ignore whatever other group they found....

    I on the other side would be happy with:

    1)Revamp of the arena and the tournaments the brawls should be with fists and all the 40 guys at the same time, the tournaments with categories(sword fights, jousting, archery, etc...), victory odds for betting....

    2)To be able to join even temporarily any of the major factions as a mercenary mostly to gather some money and don't get pissed at losing troops to archer bandits

    3)I don't know if it was an expansion or mod the bandit groups had one called bandit king that gathers other bandit groups and i think the bandit groups should go from 4 to 30 and they have a chance of killing each other or fuse
