    I hope we will be able to capture/execute women and children. It would make the game a lot more realistic because you could hold the women and children for ransom and execute them if their families don't pay. You could also execute them to send a message or some **** like that.

    This would be way too overpowered. Capturing a lord means a couple torture clicks and you get free land.
    Free land with consequences. People don't really look kindly to a lord that tortures his peers and would probably retaliate if they have an option. Also, don't expect any mercy if you are captured. Forget ever getting any help and beware if your former captive becomes part of your faction and starts politicking against you.I don't see an issue with (public) torture to teach your opponents a lesson as long as it has proper repercussions. At the same enemy lords shouldn't be piñatas which drop gold when you hit them. Rather, the public torture is a way to... convince, their family that accepting that rather hefty ransom of ceding a part of their lands might be the better option after all.
    the torture into submission part seems to be a bit silly and unsuitable. The proper way to "convince" a prisoner to become your vassal is not by torturing them until they break but by trading them for hostages which you then treat generously as long as your vassal does the same with you.

    Well obviously I didn't mean just clicking a couple of times and the lord gives you money. Your honor would suffer, you reputation with other lords would suffer, your reputation with the lord you are torturing would greatly suffer and so would your reputation with their family. Also, there would be a low chance that anything will even happen. You would have to take the lords stats into account.  If the lord was very strong, most likely nothing would happen. But if he was very weak, then he could give you gold to release him (basically pay his own ransom if his family hasn't already). Idk just an idea.

    There is a tiny split second lag, which is only natural as the falling off horse animation only runs after being called by a trigger responding to the hit (i.e. afterwards) - this is not a cut scene. It's only obvious because of the viewing angle. I doubt we will notice this in the heat of battle when there's no time for idle spectating.

    Thats just because another horse hit him while he was falling

    They just slowed down the animation so we can see it. It's gonna be faster in-game. I disagree that it looks too dramatic, I think it looks fine. However, if they wanted to go for realism, I think they should hit the guy off a horse irl whos with me :smile:?

    Guys I think we are in the clear, Taleworlds isn't releasing the game this year. I can not tell you how happy I am they are taking another year of development. It just feels like they are rushing, they need to slow it down and take their time.
