I don't know guys. The new graphics look good and all but M&B was never about super polished graphics. For me there was nothing wrong with the old school "ugliness" of the characters faces, in a way it exactly belonged in a gritty dark ages setting. ...
I mean check out "War of Roses", yes it does look awesome but it's just a lifeless husk IMHO.
I've been a fan of M&B since the days of the first beta demo (where you had to push the mouse to swing around). What grabs you straight away and never lets go is the one of a kind singleplayer as nothing can come closer to the feeling of being in the boots of an annonimous scary medieval warlord with his own company of hired thugs and merry men, roaming the country side unchecked and unpunished slowly building a force to be reckoned with challenging the authority of kings and scourging entire kingdoms.....

and the devs I think should focus precisely a lot more on that. Warband was great and I regularly play it SP and MP but it didn't really improve the known formula that much ... that's why there are that many mods that aim to change the SP. To make more immersive. I know it's very hard to be done and with growing older it takes that much more to believe that what's happening on the screen is a living and breathing world but there are certain aspects that really break the story you are creating for yourself and those need to be polished.

Make a poll maybe or sticky the topic... but the scoreboard, especially, has to go, because it's the single simplest thing that is going to emphasise team importance (at least in the short run, and maybe the need to implement simple commands is going to come more naturally this way).

did you also have this problem after the last update when you die in a battle and go into freelook mode the mouse-look works at first and then it gets jammed in position and you cant freelook anymore...another thing is the minimap in battle stays on and you cant turn it off. I liked the option to turn it on and off by pressing backspace several times

I had the memory crashes as well and I did "Fixing and  Adjusting VM" trick and defragmented the disk as well, which I think finally solved the problem for me. The warband folder was so fragmented that i couldn't download the SVN without errors, it just stopped halfway through the process.
After the defrag things work and there aren't crashes but I get weird stuff ingame that nobody complained about so far, so i guess it's related to corupted or missing files.
like on tournaments the last reinstall made the playing character not wear any armor and made most of the contestants have the  same name.

I just started playing this awesome mod so it's not an old save that isn't compatible

Is there a way to force re-check the downloaded files and fill out missing ones with tortoise.
Or is there other software that would make it easy to download the whole archive at once and place it in the mod's folder the normal way.

can we have Japanese as a faction pls, like with a harakiri option instead of a button for raising the hads in surrender

I agree completelly , after the last few patches lots of people did start getting ALT+TAB crashes......It really needs to be fixed somehow

yes ,  yes heard that story before... thats why this poll is here .... it doesnt work that great in practice.

Let the People Say for themselves.... cause one poll or two isn't that much of a spam as getting constantly TKed by people who couldn't choose the winning side (witch can obviolsly be predicted on most maps).

And what about going around slashing/shooting your teammates at the spawn point without fully killing them;some guys find fun in such things too. ...OR OPENING gates for the enemy...


...or I don't know ...Bot polls will never be accepted ... but lets say thweak the side ratios a bit on certain maps.. cause things as they are now aren't much fun ....at least not for the predestined-to-loose-side...That is the biggest problem actually; there isn't any Teamplay........ Sad to say it but the game with the greatest sieges is dying

Another suggestion:

Maybe bind the "team chat" button to the colour of armor you're wearing so that what you type appears with that same colour in the chat. I don't think it would be that hard to make
