So, when will we be able to take part in the looting of towns, killing innocent villagers or hitting them with clubs and making them slaves, that would be a nice little bonus.
Sea raids would also be a nice feature, is there going to be more elaboration on the sea in this game seeing as it was an interest in WB?
YES, YES, YES! like i said: morality system.
    AND DON'T FORGET IMPALING!

Are you going to implement stealth element to the game?

I was thinking if you want to play as a thief you could:

    - Use rope to climb up castle walls
    - Pickpocket
    - Steal loot / gold from chests / cabinets throgh lockpicking
    - Hiding in shadows
    - Silent takedowns (either kill or just stun the opponent).
    - The A.I would have to be smart and be able to spot you from a far distance and be alerted to suspicious sounds especially at night.

I would love to make my way as a thief in this wonderfull game of yours with the mount & blade gameplay.
lol wtf. i think you're looking for a different game...

I'm a college History student and this game is turning to be everything I could wish. My favorite part of History is exactly the late Roman Empire and the Early Medieval age, when the germanic and slav tribes became minor kingdoms in the lands of the Empire. The endless war between all these realms always made me think of what a good game that would make.

Now I see that Bannerlord will realize this and much better!! A semi-historical game opens a lot of space for the player's to invent hole new stories and a completely inovative space with the best elements of this period of the past.

JUST. CAN'T. WAIT. TO. BUY. THIS. GAME. AAAARRRGH.
TAKE THE TIME YOU GUYS NEED TO DEVELOP IT, TOUGH. I DON'T WANT TO DISRUPT YOUR WORK.
Oh yeah. so it won't be the julia, junia, and cornellia - it will be like constantine, maxentius and licenius

    B.S

6 month wait for a blog Just under 4, but if you feel the need for hyperbole to make your 'point' then why not...
which shows a couple of `in progress screenshots`Yes, the game isn't finished yet. Just so you aren't further disgusted by future blogs, I better warn you: all the screens will be work in progress.
and a boring fantasy/ reality history lesson?

nothing about features/ gameplay/ goals  nothing They didn't tell us much, all the blogs have been a little light on detail and that is obviously deliberate, but they did tell us more about the factions, the real era the game reflects, why they chose this era and the associated experiences they hope to reflect in the game (the break up of an empire). They also told us about factions being more complex, as they are divided into clans. It's not ''nothing''

shame on you taleworlds Shame on them? Because you are impatient for info?

p.s its leaked out that you have been on work on this a year or 2 before the ****ty trailer you released in 2012
so in essence youve been working on this around 4 years and from the looks of it should be ashamed of yourselves It didn't ''leak out'' at all, it was widely known way back that they were working on another game, and it was acknowledged happily, they just didn't make an official announcement until far later. Feeble attempt by you to make out that they were trying to hoodwink anyone.

if your going to make a blog, make it informative and about the game play/ features etc, stop wasting our time with the sugar coating of a load of waffle Stop trolling Bannerlord threads with bitter rants which translate as ''I'm impatient for your game and I handle it badly''.

Its not impatient if we're waiting 4 months...for a blog. If you think about it, its insanity. Companies normally announce their game, then release 6 months later. but we are here waiting for BLOGS 4 months apart. its madness.

I hope the add a morality system. After recently learning about Vlad the impaler, i would love to just have one castle spooky castle. and any faction that attempts to take my small lands, will be faced with unrelenting cruelty and malace. The vast armies of calradia will know to stay away from my poor and small lands

I'm guessing the three empire factions are like the Julia, cornelia and the junia.
So i'll be going for the Julia family, myself! (cockney accent)
God damn i can't wait to be in a spear-wall with my comrades, awaiting the enemies' charge

The clan names though sound totally made-up and not cool enough but well, we will see in future blogs as stated in blog since there is at least a decade to release. Good job.

As an amateur writer of made-up stuff, I think names are about the hardest thing to get right. Tolkien was a master linguist and you can often distinguish a character's race and lineage just by glancing at their name. Most of what Tolkien wrote still sounds somehow "right".

It's incredibly hard to do and even otherwise excellent fantasy authors don't give it enough attention. I love Game of Thrones/SoIaF, and Martin's pretty good at first names, but some of the House and place names are lacking, IMO. "Dorne" is a good word, but sounds like it belongs somewhere Germanic, rather than a sandy Mediterranean or Middle-Eastern stretch. None of "Lannister", "Martell" or "Tyrell" evoke anything for me. "Stark" and "Baratheon" on the other hand are brilliant names. They sound like their Houses look and behave.

Names play a uniquely important role in Mount & Blade. Yes, they have to sound authentic as always, but unlike most other games, they have to differentiate between factions and locations. In most world-maps of Warband's size, the game is set in Medieval Europe or the like. Luckily, we already know where France is. We know that someone called Philippe is probably going to be French. We know that Brittany isn't far from where we're looking. I know there were ways, and will be ways, to quickly scan through an alphabetical list to find your target - but well-designed names could make everything so much more fluent and intuitive.

Personally, I'm a fan of "borrowing" from history. I quite like seeing an obviously Viking name like Ragnar as the Nord king - largely for the reasons above. I wasn't even offended by seeing the word "Nord" as the faction name. The Nord counterparts for Bannerlord seem to be "Sturgians". The only link I can find between that word and reality is that "Sturgian" looks and sounds a lot like "sturgeon", which is a fish. Probably not intentional. In fairness, the Sturgians might have nothing to do with the Nords and not even be inspired by the real-world Vikings - but if they are linked, I have to be honest, I don't think it's a particularly good name.

I think Aserai is a good name. Khuzaits is also fine, and maybe reflects that this faction eventually fed into the Khergit Khanate.

    Stark: York
    Lannister: Lancaster

Please, dont make us wait 3 months for another blog. i mean...its a blog for fudge sake, not gameplay or a beta....
We're not asking much (at all ¬_¬) but, a gameplay trailer would certainly be nice

we are a good 2 and a half years from bannerlords annoucement `trailer` which consisted of writing and groaning

the `blogs` are few and far between this one took months to arrive,

and beyond the first few lines it was just a basic fantasy mixed with reality history lesson of life 2 milleniums ago, without saying anything about game play/ game goals/ new features nothing

and the screenshots still say work in progress

this is a very good 2 - getting near to 3 years since the annoucement was made

i appreciate the taleworlds team isnt exactly ign or ea with a unlimited budget but i havent seen anything in previous blogs or screenshots that doesnt look like it isnt from a polished mod with enhanced graphics or any of the other 1000s of mods for warband since 2010.

this isnt a huge multi platform game like gta which had weeks worth of audio and an unreal amount of graphics etc, this is just `the next level in warband` which whilst we are all excpecting improvements, nobody is excpecting something of the magnitude of gta

so pardon me for not being that excited, but when we are waiting quarter of a year for a blog which says virtually nothing about gameplay or featuers, it doesnt say much for the team

nice sugar coat though,  the way they got your attention talking about factions and then just rambled and waffled on for 5 paragraphs about absolutly nothing.
    I agree completely

that what i was just doing man
i really got bored from waiting
you know flying squirrel they made just one game and it was an DLC too and have less team number
they have a weekly blog and they didnt missed a week they reached blog 25 now
i don't know why taleworld don't care about this blog
If I remember correctly, it's not the Developers that creates this blog. It's their Community Relations person. (Lust) According to what I last heard, they were working hard on something and it's taking longer than they expected. No matter how good a PR person is, he's got to have something to blog about before he can effectively make a blog. I don't remember them ever mentioning a blog every week or such.
"every week or such" LOL. how long has it been now? 4 months? 5 months?

Guys, you're speaking as though taleworlds is 5 guys in a basement. Mount and blade had TREMENDOUS success, so they certainly have the funds/manpower to advertise and at least make blogs more frequently than once every three bloody months.
Look at a REAL indie studio, with no very little funds and manpower - they can STILL advertise and keep their audience updated on the progress of the game.
Honestly, i think taleworlds is just being lazy.

That guy who was banned is totally right. The amount of content released on this game is awful. The game trailer was released almost 2 years ago, and yet the only thing we see of the game is a short vlog every three months. People who actually care about this game are losing interest fast.
And none of that "Oh, but they are working really hard so they dont have time" because that is a load of rubbish. They are just not bothered with fan interaction, or game hype
