    Actully, yes.
First off, there has been an interview with the Leader of the Developer team. [I am sorry, I tend to forget his name].
There was an interview, which I will paraphrase a bit.

Can you give any further informations about the gameplay itself?
    -Amazingly, we can.
First off, there will be a bunch of unique features in the game.
Sadly though, the sieges, which many of you have been anticipating, will be cut down a bit, so that we can focus on these new features.
    These features will be:
    Vlandian Board Games
    Sturgian Board Games
    Battanian Board Games
    Aserain Board Games
    Khuzaitian Board Games

    And even more exciting:
    Calradian Empire Card Games.

When the trolling is juuuust right...

I feel like you're fighting a losing battle, Alene.

People are just far too impatient for this game, though I will admit that the latest blog didn't really help matters.

Come on guys; It's not as if we've paid for anything yet, so what's with the expectations? Let them work at their own pace, and go off and do something productive.

There, I said it. Sue me.

Sure, we could be more effective (31 thousand+ replies), but you can't deny that customer input can help this become a better game.

Customer input certainly helped with M&B and Warband (I should know, I've been around for 10 years), but the circumstances were different. The team was a lot smaller when Warband was being developed, and a LOT smaller when the original was. It was easier to collate feedback and action it within a smaller unit (It also helps that the userbase was smaller). With so many more people working on Bannerlord, it becomes quite difficult to filter through thousands of screaming voices and deliver workable feedback to a larger, international, team.

So, actually, I don't think it will help that much. Not until the game is much further in development.

It was never confirmed, but last year after Gamescom Armagan was asked by a journalist when the game would be released. He said he didn't know but his best guess would be 'some time in 2016'. Now Lust has, near the end of the video in this blog, said that they aim to have us playing the game in some form by the end of the year, whether it is a full release or a beta version. That is all we know. Nobody can really predict when they will have a firmer release date set, but they are going to both E3 and Gamescom this year. E3 is on from June 14th to 16th, so just one and a half months away, while Gamescom is on similar dates in August. If we are to get a firmer release date announcement in the next few months, it is likely to come at one of these events, as they are ideal forums for informing the widest possible audience.

There's yuuuuuuuuge precedent for TaleWorlds releasing the game as a closed Beta (For those who pay for it). I bought the original M&B in late 2005, when it was something like version 0.567; It wouldn't be released properly for another couple of years. The same thing went on with Warband. They may say that it's "Unplayable" or "Buggy" or that there aren't that many features in it yet, but that really doesn't matter to a lot of veteran players, as we've been through it all before. The original game had almost NOTHING in it's earlier versions, yet we still bought it and we still played it.

Ten years is a long time for any community, and there will be a lot of change in that time, but there are still a fair few of the 'old guard', like myself, who remember how TaleWorlds used to utilise it's community to better advance the development of the game.

It's coming up to the second anniversary of the announcement of Bannerlord. Taleworlds did have a rather large information drop on the first anniversary, so perhaps there will be something substantial on September 27th?

    Please?

    Please...

What I really hope for is a change in combat. I really get tired of being damaged by a polearm when I am standing so close to my opponent that he could not hit me with anything but the handle near his hands. I dislike the way I cannot use a two-handed weapon up close without my arms bouncing off my opponent and doing no damage while he is damaging me with exactly the same type of weapon. I do not like missing an opponent over and over with ranged shots while attacking a castle, only to find out a little later that all of my missiles are stuck in the air in front of where he was standing. Another annoying thing is to have an archer standing behind infantry shooting me through the body of a soldier but my return missiles are absorbed by the shield that blocks that same body.
I can live without better gameplay in other areas because I know modders will soon fix that. I really could not care less about facial expressions and I really believe the graphics of Warband are just fine.
If the numerous combat problems of Warband are fixed, I will be happy to buy M&B 2. If not, I see absolutely no reason to buy M&B 2.

You're in good company. Lot of us "vetaran" M&B players have been asking for just this, and for years.

I'm personally optimistic as to this coming into fruition with Bonerlard.

With the amount of time they've been taking with this game, I wouldn't be surprised if they have managed to meticulously polish out every single gripe, complaint, glitch and bug that Warband suffered.

I mean - They've got to be doing SOMETHING with their work week!?

Come on Taleworlds, we havent had a blog since early may. At this point we'd be thrilled to hear about what you're doing with banners, or maybe divulge your grand plans to add two extra frames of animation to the overland movement, or enlighten us all about what typeface you're using for the main menu, just something please.

I've heard they're going to be using Comic Sans.

I have seen some of my friends on Steam start this up, apparently TaleWorlds is letting some players try it out, apparently they've been watching players and had a list or something, is all one of my friends told me.  Have any of you seen this?

    Pics or it didn't happen.
