Favorite thing? It was the best mod I've ever played years ago and its still getting updates/improved.

Had a friendly challenge with my brother to beat the game with the difficulty at max in all things, no cheating, no loading characters and no alt F4ing in Ironman mode.

We both managed to beat it. To be fair we've both put hundreds of hours into PoP and know how things work quite well. One of the things we argued on was the option to force lords to stick with their faction. Forcing them into staying with their faction keeps the game more balanced and potentially easier. IMO it also makes it more fun at the beginning of the game as you don't have to rush into mercing around and saving a kingdom's ass 24/7.

Loving the 3.9 changes due to the fact it changes how the game will play out considerably. Looking forward to doing another round.

Other. I dont think the issue is the lack of a release date. I think the issue is the information the dev team gave out in 2016 that the game should be out in some form by the end of the year. Then a steam page appears in october and it was half a year later when we were really given any new information. They now give readers some good information about the game, but it still feels like false expectations have been set for many concerning a release window. Too many gamers are still slobering all over the forums like rabid dogs waiting for the next tasty morsel of information. Goes to show how excited many are for Bannerlord, but sadly in this situation it has turned the community quite toxic. I just hope we get a confirmation that the game should not be expected any time soon or for everyone to get their gaming pants on because its bannerlord time.

@so many negative responses: Something I think many in the community desire isn't really even a release date. Its just an accurate release window. Is the game even in the final stages of development? Last year there was high speculation of the gaming coming out in some form by the end of the year. We are now into August of the following year and truly have had no updates besides once again hearing the same line for 2017. Its just a massive letdown all over again.

PoP has been the greatest mod I've ever played and most of my 1000 M&B hours and have been spent on it. Even got friends and my brother to try it out and they all love it.

Got on to see an update and it blew my mind. You guys are the best.

Still can't get over how great this mod is. It adds so much to the game that makes it the only way to play warband for me. I've tried at least 10 other total conversion mods that just don't give me anything remotely close to the enjoyment PoP gives.

You guys truly created something epic. I can only hope for more mods on a scale as great as this.

Currently over 400+ hours playing PoP.

If you are considering trying out this mod be sure to give it some time and get used to the difficulty curve (especially if you play on the hardest difficulty settings) as this mod will wreck you if you take your eyes off the map or don't play safe at the beginning.

While I will probably really love Bannerlord, buy it asap, and try to get as many people to pick it up as possible....I feel like it was announced way too early. We get updates not weekly, not monthly, but every couple of months. Instead of building my hype for the game I feel like its dwindled. My brother and I played the multiplayer together and have both put over 600+ hours into the game, a lot of that being single player. At first we were really hype for Bannerlord, but now I see these updates and can't seem to find my enthusiasm. It'd be nice if we just had a target of what year yall plan on releasing.

Also the vikings expansion for warband kinda hurt our enthusiasm as well. Pretty much a waste of money as the free mods are by far better.
