  2. Gamescom 2018 really?

  5. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 13 - Weekending

I'm not disappointed about the fact that they just summarized the video up. I'm disappointed that it took them 2 months to do it. If kids in high school can write essays 1,000 words long within a week, you could most likely do better TW.

I would definitely enjoy a detailed tactical layout of the battlefield, seeing when you will get reinforcements and having the ability to call for reinforcements (After all you are the commander). I would also like to see some more units added to the game such as light ballistas, battering rams, placeable shields for archers (Always wondered why rhodok archers with the big tower shields didn't place them down for cover), pourable oil for castles, pikemen that can set for charge, ships, and even trained hunting dogs. While Warband was a fantastic game there is still a lot of room for improvement. At first I wasn't really expecting more than a graphics improvement from Bannerlord but after seeing the 40 minutes of gameplay I realized how much better they could make it.

Battering Rams are already in the game, and we've seen it at the Gamescon example, as for Ballistas, they might be added, you just need to wait for the next siege blog. They will probably have pikemen, and probably have a formation order for that. Ships is not going to happen in Bannerlord because the map is all intact and you don't have a need to go across large bodies of water to get somewhere. Trained Hunting dogs, I don't know, my guess is probably not.
"after seeing the 40 minutes of gameplay I realized how much better they could make it." Keep in mind that they haven't revealed everything in that 40 minutes of gameplay.

Only thing in the demo I wasn't very satisfied with was the inventory, I really hope it will be similar to warband, everything layed out in a grid, the one they have right now doesn't look very appealing to me, in a sense that, I feel like i'll take longer to find a specific item, or i will just feel a bit wonky about it, if they decide to keep that inventory layout. but overall, the game looks amazing.
  8. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 12 - The Passage Of Time

I wonder if they are adding new factions because in this blog they said:
    Pink – Northern Empire
    Orange – Western Empire
Which shows to me maybe they split up the actual Empire faction, I don't know.

And in https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/8 they say "The Empire"

Is this just TW adding new factions? Or has it always been like this and I missed something.
In this blog they also state that The Empire was struggling with a civil war, so it might mean that the Northern and Western part of the empire split due to a civil war.

Folks, I am wondering, was there at least a single hint from developers (or maybe threads where this was previously requested by Mount & Blade fans) about possible implementation of coop campaign (campaign with friends over network) in Bannerlord?

I don't think so, all of the blogs I have read haven't mentioned co-op campaign, and neither has any of the interviews (Or atleast the ones I saw)

But I honestly hope they don't add Co-op campaign, would just push the release date further and further away, I can't wait any longer.
