    The weapon shouldn't break completely. Just become duller. In kingdom come deliverance this worked nicely. You could just resharpen it or deal with it and play with a dull sword.

    I think dulling weapons would be better. You would be forced to find another sword to make good damage after fighting too much.

    Yeah, I know. The idea is not supposed to be taken so literally. I only show this to give for this concept of some publicity. I think cavalry, however, wouldn't work very well with this. But maybe some catapults, etc could do some good for the idea if someone is able to figure it out in a good way. Also, in Bannerlord the map could be quite much bigger and assets more diverse.

    Obviously, you're right. Nothing is for everyone. I've never tried some of the most popular mods for Warband, so I am not expecting this to be something everyone would play. But the concept is so easy to understand, but still allows many different strategies that I think many people would play it.

    Anti-cheating on multiplayer

    As far I know, in some games there are systems to qualifying players. So if the server thinks that you are a cheater but is not 100% sure about that, it will put you next time to the junk servers where everyone else are also qualified as plausible cheaters.

    Yeah, true but medieval life was not only slashing with sword and killing other people. There was all kind of other stuff also to do. I like very much the idea of having board games in the game also. And it's easy to imagine all hilarious stuff this kind of board game would lead players to do in some random multiplayer  server if they allow these to be added there also.
    I also like the idea of musicians and peaceful "works" you could do. I know their resources are not enough to build complete medieval world with all of its nuances, but the more diversity the better.

    They are a small house, we cannot expect them to hire one guy just to maintain that kind of things, it involves lots of planning and Taleworlds is still small growing company that is still finding the proper way to do such things. Because they are learning while making, they cannot say how much it takes to implement some features and if some idea is bad before testing it. etc. It is not a media company and they have only one guy whose responsibility is to maintain the info that is going out; Callum.

    They definitely have some sort of a list of things and they probably weekly give tasks for employees, but it's internal info. Also, the tasks can change and if there one week is something and then it would be removed after one Friday meeting, it would be like straight nuke to this forum "Why did you removed the horse petting feature???222" Even when the fact would be that they never even started doing it. The less info you let out the less you need to worry about things.

    Even tho I myself wouldn't go that way they are maintaining this now, I still can easily understand why Taleworlds is doing this by that wayas they are doing now.

    Yeah, it could also be quite challenging to make an AI for that game. For many other games you have an open source AI:s you can just put into games, but this probably is not having such things.

    I wouldn't expect them to. The thing is, nobody likes to admit they screwed up. Plus, TW has a long history of radio silence and not being open with information.     We already know what happened. There is nothing secret in it. It just might be hard to understand for someone who don't know much about game development how slow and tedious process it sometimes can be. There is much doing and undoing if you are building a completely new game engine that is supposed to achieve everything they were planning it to do. It's very complex process.

    They were very excited of what they started doing and made announcement too early. They learned from that lesson and stopped talking too much about it to not betray us anymore. (less talking, more raiding) If they don't know how long it takes to achieve all of their goals, it's completely okay and we should be happy to at least knowing that they are working with it. Do not focus too much into this. Live your life and one day be happy when they release it. You make it very painful yourself when you wait so much it and feel betrayed week after week.

    Come on, he said what he is currently working with. That is the best information they are going to give us and we can deduce a lot from that kind of info about the state of the game.

    Callum said they had mostly finished the early and mid-game stuff, so this guy could still be making scenes that are relevant to those phases of the game.

    For me late game means the scenes where you kill and duel other faction kings, destroy bandits and stuff like that. Kind of finishing stuff literally and face the most apocalyptic massive armies in final battles.

    I didn't want to go into direct comparison but I have no choice but to do so. Let's talk about Conqueror's Blade...

    This game that I haven't tried most of all because I find it too " Asian " in its mechanics and playability has an element that caught my attention from the beginning. The map...The current Bannerlord map is very nice and more since the qualitative leap since its last update; I love the photorealistic character it has now. However, all you have to do is go to youtube, write the name of the Asian game, make a comparison and unfortunately (in this aspect) Bannerlord loses out.

    Without taking into account KCD since its campaign map has a more artistic style (medieval manuscript), all the games that directly or indirectly are Bannerlord's competitors (we absolutely all know which ones) provide a dynamic, alive and photorealistic campaign map.

    Bannerlord is currently lagging behind in this aspect and I want to believe that the devs will act on it.
    Now I ask you, is the map good enough nowadays?

    I trust the devs who decided to redesign it decided to do so because of some good reason. So I myself think it's not good enough atm.

    Imo. You are doing too much yourself. You could just hire some 3rth party web house to make the website and transfer all data to the new forum platform. Typically those houses are able to plan the working marketing campaign for your game also.
