I noticed that the stealth system is a bit OP in it's current implementation. With a default stealth chance of 100% and then getting it lowered, there's only a 1 in 20 chance for the player to get spotted when they have no troops. This makes farming cargo delivery quests and tournaments for early money and experience incredibly rewarding with little risk.
I had a few ideas for making it more challenging.
- proximity bonuses for detection. This would make it so that the player has to actively avoid bandit parties while being stealthy, but would not need to give them as wide of a berth if they had no stealth skill.
- penalties to stealth for items in inventory/encumberance. It would nerf the ability to do cargo delivery with a 1 man warband.
- lower base stealth chance. Probably the simplest. For this I would think the Stealthy ability might need changing.
