OMG Vlandian ruler ruined my mood. He brings 700 troops to my newly captured town, against my 500 ragtag. He has 127 cav, i'm khuzait so I have my own cav, i only got 70. I sally out to use my cav to full extent. Some games, the pathfinding glitches and the do some wierd movement. ther times, they full on charge against me. FULL ON CAV CHARGE. It's like the Roham charge against the orcs. My first game they pathfind bug, allows me to set up and they charge with infantry instead of their cav. I was wiping the infantry by 100, but it froze

Never been so humilated by an NPC like that before. I reloaded for like 2 hours trying to figure it out. Best I could do was barter. lol I don;t think taking the city was worth it lol I feel like reloading an old save and forget the experience against Vlandian knight spam.

I like it, it's just how do I draw them out? I was trying to kill all the one's on the map, but they never seem to leave. I thought I did it once cause I was killing them in the map, drawing them out, but the second time, it didn't work... So it must be something else.

Honestly I have no idea; I think they are trying to simulate real life or something for them to do something like that.

Anyways, you will get a fief eventually, but one way to get the one you probably want is to let the enemy faction retake and you retake it after and try again.

I'm the guy who says "it's not that, it's this." You gotta build up your influence and use it wisely. Also, it seems two fiefs is the limit for me.
