  1. A question for the TW Staff

They're working hard and that is undeniable, if you want to be a **** behind a computer just for the sake of being a **** go be it somewhere else instead of creating new accounts to troll

This is my only account and I'm not trolling, I'm genuinely baffled that someone can congratulate the developers for "working hard and hand-to-hand with the community" considering the state of Bannerlord right now (which is an absolute disaster). Anyway, don't bother responding me, it seems like I've hit a nerve and I'm not interested in discussing with someone as emotional as you whose only means of communication is insults.
  2. A question for the TW Staff

Im just happy watching how some devs work REALLY hard everyday and work hand to hand with community

Is that a joke? Releasing a minor patch per week that fix one bug and create ten new bugs, without considering addind any of the suggested features the community has been asking for months or years, is working hard and "hand to hand with community" for you?
Here is a bit of advice for you: Try playing some other games and look at devs who are REALLY working hard on their game and hand to hand with community.
  3. A question for the TW Staff

Overall the game is heading in the direction we want it to and we are certainly pleased to be in the early access stage where players can see the progress we are making with each patch. However, we are aware that there is a lot of content, such as scenes, that are still missing and some performance issues that need ironing out, so we will continue to keep our heads down and work hard to deliver a great game.

TL;DR: Overall happy, but aware that there's plenty of room for improvement.

Probably best left to one of the game developers to answer this.

We have no plans to do anything like this in the near future.

Yes, and yes. Some already made their way into the game (e.g. conversation screen on the world map), and some will be coming in future patches (I won't spoil those though!).

Ok, I'll try to be honest in my answer. Please, don't take what I'll say personnally or as an attack, I'm just trying to say what I think a lot of other peoples think :

(almost) NOBODY gives a damn about yout missing scenes and map. If that is really what you're working about and that you'll consider your game complete when you're done adding those missing villages and castle scenes, you're waaaay off base. We want FEATURES. Seriously, just read the hundreds and hundreds of threads talking about features everybody want, look at the thousands of mods that have been done in Warband adding stuff that everyone loves. WHY are you ignoring all of this? (I'm not expecting you to answer that of course).

    I see three possibilities:
Either you're bad at communication (I don't think so), either as a CM you don't have any info about what the devs are working on (I don't think so either), or the dev team is simply utterly incompetent. I'm sorry but that's the bitter truth, Bannerlord is developed by incompetent devs. It is sad but I don't think you'll sell any more copy of Bannerlord at the end of the EA. I think that at the release, everybody will have definitely forgotten this game (hell, nobody is even playing it anymore after a few months, nobody's even talking about it on big video game forums. It's like the GoT show, it is now taboo to talk about this disaster).
  4. Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

Sooooo... Not a single new feature. Well, I guess I won't play again before a long, long time.
  5. [Poll] Should TW release a roadmap?

I think they should do like the guy developping Dwarf Fortress : a list of features they're planning to include in the game, each having a current status (planned but not started/started/done) with no date.
  6. So, basically, how many quests do we have at the current state and do they change something in global?

Bannerlord should have at least 50 to 60 different types of quests, and some quests being exclusive for some cultures. 16 quests is lame.
  7. Realistically, how long will we have to wait for new quests to be implemented ?

Right now, I don't exactly know how many quests are available in the game (can someone tell me the exact number ?) but it seems like the same 4-5 keep repeating over and over until you're so sick of this "Family Feud" quest you simply ignore it. What would be the ideal number of quests, for you...
  8. Feasts, Parties, and More Interaction

Lords should stay long time in towns, between conquests, and have several activities available to them in addition of feasts, like hunting, training troops, simply resting with their family, judging criminals, etc...
  9. Suggestions about quests (frequency, difficulty and NPCs reactions)

So far, one issue of the EA (that will be fixed in the future with no doubt) is the very limited number of quests, making the game extremely repetitive. Creating new quests is a very long process and I'm not expecting to see a patch adding new quests before a long time, but here are several...
  10. Alternate Start Options

+1, one of the best aspects of Kenshi that would fit Mount & Blade completely.
  11. Please provide more info on what your working on to allow better community input.

    Exactly.

If you had an ink of knowledge about game development, tech support or even community management, you'd know they are reading. Just saddle up and wait, or just refund, I guess.
It's Early Access, not a full release. If you aren't patient and can't afford to play with bugs or whatever, just wait for the full game to arrive.

The way you're talking, I think that you're the one who does not know a lot of things about game development. Do you even know what the technical debt is in the video game industry?
  12. Please provide more info on what your working on to allow better community input.

They are reading everything, be sure of that

And how do you know this ?
  13. A (semi) complete list of all cut content I could find in the files

Wow damn, I'm really frustrated that these things are not in the games, especially the most RPish ones like the different activities while waiting in town.
  14. Some thoughts and critiques from a professional game developer and ex-modder of M&B/Warband.

Very good list, all of this should be included in the vanilla game, whe shouldn't need a mod for this imo.
  15. Tournaments are Hella easy

I've found this to be a very profitable way to make money early game.

Seem to remember them being slightly more difficult in Warband when first starting out.

Now I've got a Camel I can't use and some named weapons.

    10/10
Seems I'm the only one struggling with tournaments (but I admit I'm not a good player x) )
  16. Marrying someone feels like a job interview

This would increase the age rating to 18 losing many players also its stupid.
Lol, since when does age rating makes you lose players ? Does it seems to you that GTA V lost players because of age rating ? We're in 2020, nobody cares about age rating anymore.
  17. A New Player's experience of Bannerlord

In Bannerlord? Like 10 minutes, Warband probably somewhere around there
Lol, it's not that I'm calling you a liar but I think you don't really realize what 10 minutes means. Your battles last, like everyone, probably 2 or 3 minutes at most. It's litterally IMPOSSIBLE to make them last 10 minutes, except if you order your men to follow you and then simply run around the map, doing nothing for 10 minutes but escape the enemy. As soon as your men start fighting their opponents, then it's over in 1 minute.
  18. Feedbacks and suggestions after playing a few hours

Hi Talesworlds, thank you for giving us a subforum dedicated to the centralization of feedbacks and suggestions, it will make things easier for everyone. Ok, so I really like the game and I'm having a lot of fun but there are things that could be fixed to make everyone's experience even more...
  19. Nobody reads your suggestions and tips for improving the game.

    [/ CITAR]

Hear what happened to that game does not mean that the same thing happens to you, yesterday they gave you a patch where they solved many errors in the game, Taleworlds will continue to fix the errors and add mechanisms. Who do you think you are to prevent the future of the game? when Bannerlord is barely 3 days from launch as EA. Just let TW fix it and you will be wrong

Just remember my post. You'll see in a week that I wasn't wrong :xf-wink:
  20. My thoughts on the Faction Snowball effect. Campaigns should go on forever!

Please no stalemate. That is most boring.
Oh, because it's funnier to see the whole map conquered by a faction before you even have the time to reach level 6 ?
