  1. Troops Need To Train Faster

I'm experiencing this as well. For example: In my army of 50 troops against 35 looters, after victory around 5 of my men will have leveled up. In a battle with my same army against 20 steppe bandits (which are 5x stronger than looters) I usually only have 1 or 2 men level at most while suffering significant losses.
  2. Unbalanced Hideouts

Hideouts are way too hard most of the times. A village elder sent me on a quest to clear a forest bandit hideout nearby. Fine, I told him, I'm gonna be ok with my top tier troops.
But no. Why? Because there were more than 30+ of them in that hideout. And we're 8. Even with top tier equipment, it's still unachievable.

Ways to improve balance for hideouts:

    1. Put a max number of men in hideouts (ex : 20).
    2. Give the player the option to chose his men.
    3. Give the player's troops a chance; if the Player falls in battle, and his troops wins the battle, then the battle is won like any other one.
    4. Give the player a different option than sneaking up at night, like... attacking, like a normal battlefield.
    5. The Sneaking option, if successful, could bring you directly to the Hideout Chief. If you manage to kill him first, the bandits scatter.

The current state of Hideouts does not make any sense, and gets quite boring and annoying quickly.

I agree with most of what you are suggesting. I just avoid hideouts at the moment because there is no practical way of winning the fights.
  3. Hideouts are impossible

The hideouts are totally broken and I avoid them. They are nearly impossible to successfully win by combat and also impossible to sneak through. This aspect of the game seems unfinished and basically a placeholder at this point.

One other thing that seems bugged is that the troops at the top of my roster don't get pulled into the attack. The units I have in my army are pulled at random. Nomads can't do much by die instantly in the attack.
  4. Let us equip Companions.

You can already do this. While in your inventory, take a look at the top. You'll see your character name with an arrow to the left and to the right. Use those arrows to switch to companion load outs.
I will look for this again. I thought I tried clicking every icon trying to find this. Thank you.
  5. Resolved Infantry and Shields

I wasn't aware that units with shields only raised their shields if ordered to. I've notice that when my army is getting attacked by ranged units they do NOT raise their shields. This should be automatic and not require a command.
  6. Let us equip Companions.

This would help our companions survive in battle. They are often equipped with robes and little else. It would increase the fun factor of maintaining our clan.
