    Bank is overpowered

    Banks make it realy easy to get money. Its great for a fresh start but after you piled up some money there it becomes an automated money printer. Maybe there should be a maximum cap for how much you can place in a bank?

    Also, why am i geting a rediclious amount of XP (about 30k) when even i get the intrest from the bank?  :shock:

    I thougt it was the polarm hit that caused it since my horse recived around 130-160 damage right after any polarm hit. It seems the AI "activate" there anti-horsman aura right after the hit. Well, it seems i managed to turn it off tho.
    It was anoying to see my entire khergit army crushed by 10 pikeman and a handful of swordsman.

    Tho what i want to realy know is that should it work like this? I mean even if the spear/pike/polarm barely touches a horse should it do over 100 damage to it every time?

    Im not sure if this is a bug or something but spear braceing is working rather odd for AI.

    I cant disable it for the AI, its constantly on for them. When i ride past and enemy with a polarm and his sideswing hits my horses back for 0 damage probably with over -100% spead bonus my horse still magicaly explodes into fried pieces of flesh, nomater what type of horse im useing. This makes fighting enemys with polarm with horses impossible. I know spears and polarms should be good against horses, but i dont think they should detonate your horse even with a scratch.

    I hope this isnt intentional.

    I did it right.

    Ill redownload the base mod and this minimod now, just to check if the problem isnt from my end. Ill edit the result into this post later.

    EDIT:

    Everything works fine with a clean install, the minimod work well.

    I get an error message with the 2.4 Tweeked one.

    RGL error. get_object failed for body: bo_winter_arena_tower.

    Ill replace the text files (backup power!) and try with Normal.

    Kickslash is a lost cause, its just hard to make usefull and balanced at the same time. Think of a new distant controlling option, post it and hope for the best, but please, dont start the 217. argument about it that will end in opinions halfed between "change it" and "leave it" kind of oppinions. Thankyou.

    Native Is Dying?

    Native is pretty well balanced apart from the regular bug abuse and some items that doesnt always work as they should. Most problem i have with multiplayer are the controls. Often they feel unreacting and slow, and sometimes even if you blocked at the right time and at the right direction you still get hit. I dont know if its something with the netcode or its something on my end, but these things make Native "unbalanced" for me.

    Warband 1.130

    As i tryed kicking a few times i feel its uses are pretty restricted now. Often i see my foot diapearing into my opponents chest with no efect and with the new hitboxes and no turning it can be laughably easily dodged in an open place. So if your oponent isnt just moveing foward, or your not in a place that restricts left/right movement kicking will most likely only get you hit or killed. Atleast facehugging and running around your oponent didnt return so frekvently... yet :razz:. Ill give the thing more time before i judge wich way this patch brings us.

    Crossbows max hit

    Crossbows are handy because:

    -You can aim with them for as long as you like.
    -They can pierce bad shields.
    -You dont need much more than the profiency to use one.

    Also, to the best od my knowledge, bow damage is or atleast should be affected by armor.

    Concerning TKing

    Every player votes from both teams. I know that this often results into not kicking or banning a TK-er because the other team, or some of your team even, doesnt care.

    About the 22nd server. Yep, more players, more TK. There is an auto kick/ban script Vincenzo made, but it seems it doesnt stop the more "crafty" TK-ers. Also, reflective FF can be abused just as much as normal FF only that way the script doesnt work because the guy who made you kill yourself doesnt get a minus score. Also i might mention that even if you get TK-ed you dont lose your money atlest, also thanks to Vincenzo. And admining such a big server, even if there would be admins on it every day would still be hard, especialy those "craftyer" TK-ers.

    Confession time, Warband

    I play Khergit horse archer in SP... maybe because i see them so rarely in MP, or if i do they get changed/voted away pretty fast. Somehow in single player i love it, but in MP i hate fighting, both with and against them.

    Kick should be changed, in 1.130 it's useless, sign here

    Im happy that kickslash is pretty much gone, it was pretty easy to pull off especialy at some specific places, but im sad that with it the kick is useless too. Its true that kickslash gave an end to some fights that would have gone on for minutes without it, but also it could just end a fight before it even started.

    I think kick should have a better range (about the range in 1.127), should do a fixed amount of damage (not much, but it should always do some nomatter what armor the opponent is in), should be slightly rotatable (again not much), should have a hitbox that is a bit larger than the foot and ofcourse it wouldnt garante a free hit after it.

    Even if someones standing still you need a barage to get a hit or luck at that distance.

    Yep, if you know the uplift you can spawn shoot, but the arrow takes about 5-6 seconds to arive at ruins, you actualy need to move away from the spawn at field by the river and again it takes about 3-5 seconds for your arrow to arive, also at that distances the arrow will not hit anything most of the time, someimes a lucky hit and by watching for those shots they are easily avoidable.

    On Battle on ice i agree that more precise spawnshots are possible due to the two factions starting close to each other, but Battle on ice is generaly a pretty unbalanced "hide and seek" map, this is generaly happening pretty fast in the game, around the second minute both factions have hidden ranged players hiding and snipeing from the woods and melee players trying to ambush them.

    So overall spawn shots are only good at Battle on ice, on all the other maps they are based on luck and the enemys unawareness.

    I wont go into the ranged weapon debate because i have seen it over and over again, never going anywhere.

    Fastest Combat Speed

    Fastest speed, imbalanced or not is fun for people, so removeing wouldnt be right.
    Basicly if you look at it it breaks down to this:

    Fastest speed is more about reflexes while medium is about overthrowing your enemys concentration, suprising him with something. Both can be and is fun, argueing about it, especialy in such a rude and ignorant way is just plain simple silly.

    This discussion should be put back to track or just stoped.
