    Anyway, Dain, if you are successful, do you think you could scribble down a brief tutorial? Like you said, this could open up huge things for modding, and it would be nice for us to try ourselves. I'm working on a couple of Roman mods at the moment, and they desperately need new animations for the big shields.

    OOuuu yes... translate from translates is suicide. I am use his, but translate and myself, what know.

    Ok, I have understood. Look.
    Addition of the frames of animation in existing animation, moving of keys of animation, the task of speed of reproduction of animation... All it is set NOT In BRF edit! All it is done in a file "Mount&Blade\Modules\Native\human_actions1.txt". And BRF uses data from this file and defines borders of animations.

    Also, I have found out, that in torque Moutn&Blade does not play a role a name of animation, but only position sequence in this file :smile:. That is if to insert animation between existing, in BRF we shall see it, we can redact, but in game it will shift all existing animations on one downwards :smile:, also it will turn out cereal. I so have made already.
    So if to add animation in the end, it will be a normal part of game animations. And any are long. Certainly not anyone, but reasonably long.

    Oups... Seems to me, that these two phrases contradict themselves:
    Try importing your animation into the unused human action slot, or making it longer and trying to overwrite an existing one. It'll get cut off.

    You speak, what add new frames is impossible, because tis cut off. And you speak, what added animations... inexplicable... =)

    I know, its work, because I had "equip" to increase animation on length, and it is quite successful. It now lasts longer than native on 3-6 staff.

    Yes, new animations and frames can be added in the "Mount&Blade\Modules\Native\human_actions1.txt". He have empty slots.

    I used a BRF Edit 0.8.5 for 0.903 M&B, for export in SMD-format, and this to 3dsMax6. It all, what i am used =( . Actually, yes, export from ass.
    But, if developers was dividing animation from lance and sword, will be very good. And if to one event was >1 animations, will be a very very perfect. Hollywood moments don't aggravate.
    All problems in locked animations for 2-3 weapons... and I no completed something.

    I write, what a animation not complete. Strikes from overhead  me do not satisfy, too. I want to redact them.
    But, in some moments, impossible to divide animation. it no comfortable. =(
    Next time, I give demos in normal form =), not in videoclip.

    В зарубежных играх присутствуют термины, которые на русский перевести - получается черте-что или вообще ничего не получается!
    Ну что тут уже утрируете. Геймеры давно понимают такие замысловатые слова как дамаг, експа, левел, шот, дроп... хотя на самом деле, эти сочетания букв в русском языке не несут абсолютно никакой нагрузки. Некоторые даже не отдают отчёт в том, что это не русское слово, а чисто исковерканное звучание зарубежных слов. И что тогда означает черте-что? У нас на факультете высшую математику преподают на белорусском языке :smile: , и что? И ничего, абсолютно понятно.
    В игре есть такие термины и названия, которых игроки могли не слышать больше нигде даже на родном русском языке. Не надо загоняться на тему перевод - это потеря смысла и тому подобное. Это крайне лишне.

    У меня де-та была прога для создания этих самых шрифтов. Вообще не думаю что проблемма найти  её. :smile: Если оч хочится, то можно самим нарисовать обобщённый стиль. Но имхо не требуется. Разьве что она сожет пригодится для правки ширины шрифтов, и читаемости.. Ещё было бы кстати пофоткать как шрифт в игре смотрется будет. Если это не долго делается, конечно.

    Тоже понравилось  и читается хорошо  Wink
    Во! Сам хотел такой предложить. Я как-то раньше искал, нашол много вариантов такого стиля, с разными сложностями и заковырками. Вот я думаю этот будет лучше всех, ибо стараславянский, русский!

И в окне персонажа сам скилл и его описание полностью!! на русском. А теперь вопрос, значит ли это, что в нативе , присутствует информация о огнестрельном оружии, только само оно в игру не вставлено? Или все-таки эта информация заложена авторами и является общей для всех модулей?

    В движеке даже анимация стрелкового оружия заложена.
