right, we are pretty much going back and forth on this, like i said my situation is I am a die hard mount&blade fan, thats wants nothing more to do than to play mount&blade, but when i go on i'm just so overwhelmed i leave, thats just sad, but i'm just one guy right teehee

Uh yea, but its come to my attention that people are targeting me specifically, to gain prestige, as I am involved with The Ol'Ski tournament ,  fame has its downsides

to be totally honest guys, I love the game so much, but dont even want to play online, simply because I am overwhelmed immediately by the devs and other peeps that live on here. And i LOVE M&B and I love  online any day over not.  Adjustments need to be made, for the game to be a success, new users will be totally overwhelmed, I would say making the shields actually work would be a good start, at least i could hang a lil and block but the moment i get out there i am plucked by a guy on horse with a lance or 1 swipe from a sword and i am gone  "there is no in between" We all arent barbarians that just run out there swinging, some people like to move around check the situation out. And i know what some of you are saying that maybe i should adapt and change tactics, well that really limits gameplay, and alienates any new users that are checking the game out, sorry for a lot of whining, i have a lot of positives toward the game but we are "beta testing it"

We dont think they should be taken out of the game DanAngleland, the majority feel that, shields are not accurately depicted  in mount&blade. They should be a lil more resilient "even the cheapest ones"  you should be able to fight a few sword battles with" as it stands now they break with one hit for most weapons rendering them useless

WE think your wrong glustrod! we actually think the shields are, comical unrealistic and just plain silly in the current beta of warband. 

it would be awesome to have an in game editor for  "multiplayer" that guy Voda, concerned about an occasional body part,  is way overreacting, about someone posting something unsavory, we still would have an option to ban the person or kick him from the server right?  So if the majority dont like an image we can just kick them!

This is a really cool & unique feature to mount&blade!  I love it! I really hope they can implement a way for all users to be able to upload their own banner easily, and be able to use it online... Please please

Oh well i apologize than, have you come across why the devs havent corrected the issue yet and made the shields a lil more resilient, i mean really, they are practically worthless, i just avoid battles now, as i am such a defensive fighter, its really crippled my fighting style and technique, "also the actual physics have changed quite a bit" not to my liking, i think the whole right arm swing is all messed up and looks horrible, i cant even hit anyone with a right swing from horseback, "practically my whole offense" I wonder if others fight like me? Because ive played mount&blade "not warband" like a religion, and its just pointless for me to even try to fight i am killed easily in two swings! the first one destroys my shield and the second destroys me 

I 'm not exaggerating in the least, I'm actually surprised we dont have a thread on how ridiculous the shields are yet, as one gentleman elegantly put it "the shileds break as if they are pottery" I will now go directly from here, not pass go, and post a thread on how inaccurate, the shields are 

the shield is extremely important to prevent arrows, spears, axes & everything else they throw at you, i feel naked with out it,

I agree I almost exclusively fight with a shield, & yes its cool that they break , but after only like 2 hits? wtf? what about a steel shield? I' mean cmon these shields should really be able to stand up with several battles with different people. My fighting style is at a serious disadvantage, and this is a MAJOR component like a sword. What if these swords broke after a few hits? Please fix it before launch because these shields are virtually useless, so much so that i just dont even bother trying to fight anymore i just run around watching people (think about it if shields broke on two sword strikes we would of never used them) its so OBVIOUS this needs to be corrected

I agree & to be honest I have not seen anything here that is even near,  to my expectations of a "league" I am not putting efforts down, I just have a different aspirations with M&B online & competitive play. I want to lay the ground work for players to regulate update and hold their own events.  An all in one location for all mount&blade activities with integrated 3rd party tools to communicate and compete with, I want to know who the best is!
