    That's because sometimes you are holding an attack while blocking, so it appears "unresponsive", especially when you are used to Warband's blocking, but it is really because of the delay when going from holding LMB -> block.

    There is a delay when you go from holding attack -> blocking. If you aren't holding an attack then the block is faster, and similar to Warband.
