    Hey guys. I had this exact same problem and traced it vi Windows Event Viewer to KernelBase.dll. it makes no sense to me whatsoever but creating a new Windows aadmin account and playing from that Windows account fixed it for me.
    It's extremely weird as it is still going to be using that same .dll file

    Anyway I hope that works for some of you.
    I couldn't load the launcher at all either and when I log into my normal Windows account I stil can't load the launcher. It definitely isn't the desirable way to run bannerlord but it's better than not playing it at all.

    Thanks, making a new admin Windows account worked for me

    Yeah, they patched the game just now and guess what, its all in game issue fixes. WE CANT EVEN OPEN THE GAME!
    I'm loosing my hope here. I don't want to refund but it looks like I wont even be able to since im stuck in crash screens for hours...

    I have the exact same problem and I know some other poeple also have this in the discord server. I hope they actually consider this as an issue and not some delete this file and hope it fixes it ****.

    In Progress Game Won't Open

    I have the same problem, launching the game from steam doesn't do anything. I also have tried everything from @Callum 's post.
    I can launch the game from Bannerlord.exe but it crashes when I exit the tutorial with the TAB button.
