    exactly right. Why do you think I don't post much. 90% of the time it's ignored and the other 10% is a vague answer. For some reason keeping people updated on progress is not a TW ability although tons of other companies do it. If you do it then you get the TW lovers blasting you, or a certain moderator (starts with an O) that will swear and threaten to ban you, so why waste the time. Just sit back, relax and count the days till the game is done and the real warriors, the modders, can fix the game
    I still don't see their point in not telling us they can at least vaguely tell how long it will be, they just anger fans by ghosting them

    honestly I think I speak for a lot of us on the console side when I say
    I don’t care about the weather I don’t care about the new maps
    I REALLY don’t care about multiplayer like it’s a ghosts town in there
    I love the product I have now. it’s playable I’m happy with it
    Just give us the cheats so we can continue the fun like I really appreciate the time you guys are taking to iron out a vast majority of issues (wish other companies would take note) but I literally just want one thing out of the whole list
    Im not going to insult the dev on this like there jobs sucks I can only imagine the headache they deal with , but let us ease that by just giving us a simple (so I assume) patch that added cheats and I can guarantee people won’t be at each others throats in the comments as much and we can continue to love this game and BULLDOZE MY WAY THROUGH THE CAMPAIGN CHUNKING ABSOLUTE PISS MISSLE JAVELINS AT MACH 999 INTO A GROUP OF POORLY ARMORED PEASANTS AND GET MY GRAPES. love the game I know you guys are working hard

    I agree 100% we've been asking for cheats since release and now they've finally announced them they've given us little info

    They have nearly a hundred employees. And for the majority of the game's development they had only a single project they were working on.

    Now they have that other project, which going by their track record inside this decade we can expect results on that in 9 years or so. But they're still developing this, so might be longer for them to bring that to EA, 15 year mark is very probable.
    I'm actually surprised they have a hundred employees, but they're getting a bad reputation at being slow but at least the game is good, it's not like they take months to release an update and it turns out **** after the wait

    It's kind of hard to understand how a patch that came out as beta in june hasn't been released in October.
    It's been almost 3 years and a half since I have been hoping to see a game that didn't feel like it turned into a chore the moment you conquered a few fiefs and all you had left was the more of the same against an inadequate AI and artificial barriers to slow you down.
    Bannerlord is such wasted potential and it's really annoying knowing how good the game could be, they produced such a good game with a unique concept but kinda neglect it with updates and new features

    While the video does explain that 1.2.0 features are on the steam beta branch at the beginning, I think you are right that it could be made more explicit f.e. by repeating this in the console specific feature section ("please note that these will only be available after the beta update is released to live etc"). This is something we can improve upon in future updates.

    I understand that people are excited about these features and that is fundamentally a positive thing. Believe it or not, we are also excited to share our work with players. :razz: Still, there is no magic button that will create a sufficiently stable build - it simply takes time and effort. We could share the beta build later in development and communicate what we are working on later, but that would only create the illusion of you receiving it faster / having to wait less from the point of knowing about it (while in reality the reduced beta collaboration may well extend the overall time or lead to a less stable live release). Similarly, I assume everyone is agreed that the beta shouldnt make it to live with significant known stability or performance issues.

    What is clear is that you will receive these changes. It also won't be years before that happens.


    Forum ranks are based solely on time spent online. Aka recruits are newly registered users. Grandmaster knights lived a year of their life on the forums.
    So how much longer should we expect to be waiting before the update goes live?

    The beta branch is provided for early adopters that would like to support the development as well as to give modders an opportunity to see what is coming before the majority of players will default to it. Not releasing hotfixes to beta would defeat its very purpose.

    Naturally, you can also opt into the beta simply to play with new features - but you do so at your own risk. If you want a more stable environment, the live branch would be the appropriate choice.

    FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST PUSH THIS PATCH TO MAIN VERSION AND STOP RELEASING PETTY UPDATES THAT BREAK ALL THE MODS.

    Once again we are unable to play the game because of an update no one wanted or needed - AND WE CAN'T EVEN ROLL IT BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION! :roll:

    I'm sure you are aware that this game is tedious, monotonous, repetitious, and unplayable without mods.

    If you guys insist on constantly breaking the game, PLEASE at least give us the option of choosing to roll back if we wish.
    Agreed, they need to do big updates, not loads of small hotfixes which ruin the game each time

    When we stop playing and give up on this game. I think if we ignore them for a year they'll finally decide it was a bad idea to fix mp and sp at the same time. Mp is dead, as in archeologists are sifting sand to find relics, dead. No patch gonna fix it.
    Yeah I don't know why they focused so heavily on multiplayer and cross platform, its completely dead on console and like 90% of players only play single player, it just seems like such a waste of time which they could spend introducing new features, like a basic diplomacy system

    And me i have never had this much fun with a game since kknd i think. However i did also enjoy mtw2 and the nafftun units.
    But this game has great potential.
    Yeah the potential to bannerlord is unreal, but taleworlds haven't delivered. It angers me so much how good bannerlord could be if they put in the effort, they have the money due to how much of a success warband was so there is no excuse

  16. In a future update, could TW make it possible to use 2 colors from the same color palette when customizing our banner? I want a red and black sigil.

    It really sucks that you can’t use two colors from the same palette. If you pick red, switch the color palette, the colors change and you can’t pick black as the secondary color.

    Yeah I have no clue why they can't use more colours, they limit the range of colours so much it's annoying

    This is the new 'Norm' of EA games. First, tease the audince with "potential game" dev blogs and trailers. Next release the EA at premium price and hold off complainers with "take it easy..its still in EA", now in Offcial release after solid sales, "dont worry, we're still working on this game..be patient", now dealing with both an apathatic casual crowd who have moved on and an infuriated diehard fanbase "sorry, we are now in maintenance skeleton crew mode...maybe the DLC or next game will fulfill proposed feature X,Y,Z"
    I wouldn't compare TW to EA, I'd argue taleworlds are much slower Devs than EA considering bannerlord took like 9 years of development to actually release and is still an unfinished, bug filled mess while EA pump out like 12 different sport games every year

    I genuinely think this is the end for taleworlds. Theyve left such a sour taste in the fans mouths, that if they ever try to make another game, their fanbase will not be there to fund their next decade long development.
    Yeah taleworlds are well know for being really slow developing, after all the game was in beta for years before release and even after the release there was still loads of bugs and a lack of features such as kingdom destruction and cheats for console. Update 1.2 is long overdue and it's been 3 months of waiting for features which should've already been in the game from launch
