Double today's peak Warband player count would put it on the top 10 active list right now, on Steam's stats landing page. I did it with another game. Is your GPU overheating? Keeping it dusted wasn't enough any more a while ago for me, but I noticed the card was facing down. Heat rises, right? So I turned the whole case upside down.- jthill

The Upper Hand
It's kinda both, I've got a general story in mind and want the game character to actually keep to it. Underpinning the fighting and strategy, the game's a story-construction kit, right? I'm enjoying the balance between sandbox and structure. Having trouble with this line atm because I left the henchmen-recruiting a bit late. I'm still new at the game, this is my first real go at a career. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised at the bandits grouping up so much, it's pretty basic and they paid attention to so many finer details. I may need to restart to get the line I want as I didn't think of save-as, duh, but at least it's early. strings.txt still has "unsewn" for "unsown". The dialog comes up early and often.- jthill

For early arena combats when the bots pair up and swarm you I can't. I was getting frustrated until I finally got what I like to think is the point of having them do that. Same general idea when I start with a bow: maybe take a potshot or two to start, but my top priority so far has to be picking up a spare sword.
Don't take bad odds, change them. It's embarrassing how long it took me to realize that (duh) applies to this game too...- jthill
