Regardless, I saw the topic on the front page, showed interest, and had an opinion. :3

That's what I said.

And that's why I said, IF YOU COULD.
If you could platform jump to the top of a few trees, would you?
If you could wall jump up a certain wall on one map, would you?

That's the obvious question here. Oh, a small development team made a game, it's pretty good, the maps are a bit unbalanced and you can get on a few roofs where it otherwise makes you think anything without stairs is inaccessible. Are these few places HAX or perfectly viable?

I am saying that I think, personally, that there is no way they are 'perfectly viable'. That's all I'm saying. The game tells me this.

I don't have multiplayer, hence why I said, why doesn't anyone know how to screencap? But frankly, it's a war simulator, not the best, but decent and fun.

When is the last time you knew men in armor weighed down with multiple weapons making 3 foot vertical leaps? You are suppose to find high ground as an archer, not try to use the limited game mechanics to find a place that it's hard for the other team to reach.

The fact that there is discussion about it, frankly, says a lot on the subject.

If you could get a horse on a castle wall, and run, jump it off, dismount in air, and land on the roof of a lone building, would you call that viable!? NO. You wouldn't. This game isn't Assassin's Creed or Super Mario Brothers, you aren't suppose to be platform jumping to relatively inaccessible areas.

There are no stairs to the roof, that has been said, so I'm pretty sure you all know the deal here, so I'm just gonna go do something else because last time I checked the game has ladders that you can't climb.

Do I need say more? Not really.

I know you can fall 30 feet in armor carrying 3 swords, and not get hurt at all, land on your feet like a cat. Try that in real life sometime. :p

Can the AI get there? Do you think if you could jump off a castle wall and fall 50 feet and land in a tree that is a viable archer position? No. No it is not, it's a game that can't simulate everything, so have to have some suspended belief, and then has people who want to cheat and figure out how to say they aren't.

Pictures of said roof would make sense, does it have stairs to it?

I've seen discussion like this in so many games, and it is almost always just some people defending bug using, or else there wouldn't be a discussion.
