yes. download the game from this website, play free forever (as long as you don't go beyond level 7). even if you buy it from the store, you will still have to download all the patches and updates from this website anyway. so just download the game and buy the key from this website. -

Some questions about LAN battles
Actually, you can buy one copy of the game, activate it with your serial key on several computers, and they can all go online and play any multilayer game they want. -
Where is dedicated Server File? And Why isnt it included with the Game?
Go to the main talewards website, click "download," and then download the dedicated server files.
Though, when you host a game on your computer, and add it to the main list, other people can join that. You don't need the dedicated server files; you only need those if you want to set up a computer at your house to ALWAYS be connected and ALWAYS have that server running. -
Things to think about in singleplayer
If you need to train the companions you want to be vassals, and not in your party, you could just send your normal companions on missions or tell them you need to separate for a while as you train the others.
Also, since its just a means to an end... you could just cheat a little bit to move the process along, since its so bugged / incomplete.
But some people don't like cheating at all. If that's the case, you have a long, boring road ahead of you, until some decent mods come out :-/ -
Things to think about in singleplayer
Making them vassals is optional -you can choose to only recruit other lords for vassals. Keep in mind that you can always recruit other companions (since you cannot have them all in your party at the same time, or the don't get along) and make the others vassals. -
Things to think about in singleplayer
It will take a long time to establish your proper right to rule; in order to achieve the task of becoming king of the world you will need to "establish" yourself by serving another monarch. I would suggest a claimant, as you will have more control over that campaign. -

While briefly funny... its starting to annoy the hell out of me. It's rendered the forums almost unreadable for an entire day, and caused most of the useful topics to get pushed to the second page while leaving "newbish" crap on the first... -

BTW while on this topic... my "first" wife never left her castle and moved into mine with me... She just stayed there. That was the latest version before release, so we'll see once I get to that same position again if I'll get into that same position again.

I couldn't find any editors like the one the OP was talking about... Can someone post a link to any editor so I can check it out (preferably not one that uses python)?
My searching efforts have been bested...

That could be possible, although I think the whole system is poorly coded; if you talk to everyone and they say who they support, it should work more like the marshal election system.
In my case, if the king, as well as a majority of the lords say I deserve the fief... It makes no sense at all for me not to get it.
If "controversy" is the issue, then why would they say they support me in the first place???

The problem is it's all mixed in together; I think we should have an ENGLISH forum or thread that has a full library of project or brainstorming for mods, not some pre-release stuff scattered about. -

Yeah I just want to have a location and community set up so that when modding starts, we already have ideas and know where to find them.
As for that link above, it looks like that is for the original game... I can't read that language and I'm too lazy to translate it all
