Another one: How do I play with more than 150 soldiers / battle at the same time? I have a decent computer, I'm playing Floris at the moment, and the maximum is 150. Can I increase it?

Does having a shield on our back protects our back from arrows and bolts? I've just tried it and still got hit from behind (not from the sides), which I found odd. An I never actually saw arrows and bolts stuck on back shield, only in the front one. Thanks.

This is definitely something that TaleWorlds has to get rid of, in next game. It's utterly boring and frustrating, I just don't do them.

Another one: I read that if I am on a city during wages payment day, I'll only pay half of them. Is that correct? Is there a way to know in which day are the payments coming? Other than counting the days since the last payment...

Well, I'm kind of a newbie, but I also like to trade, and it's not very difficult to make some money in native. You mentioned Floris, I didn't get if you were playing that mod, but I am, and I had an hard time trading in it. I eventually gave up my trading character, and move on to other strategies like looting and selling prisoners. In Floris I was simply unable to find cheap items in little towns. And the item's quality feature also makes it difficult to know if it is a good price or not (I don't want to have a calculator on my hands all the time just to do some trading in M&B). I barely could pay the wages of a small army for protection, and I never had money to buy items, which wasn't really a problem because there were no cheap items to buy.

Funny thing is, Floris guys claim they didn't touch the economic system (supply/demand), so it shouldn't be Floris' fault. If that's correct, I can't explain what happened or what changed. I can only tell what happened to me: In Native, it was easy to trade and I was able to gather a good amount of money to invest in enterprises and have a decent army. In Floris, I had to gave up trading...

I was wondering about Party skills. What matters is the overall amount of companion's and our points for that particular stat? Or it only matters the stat of the guy with most points on it?

Another thing, I'm having lots of fun "lancessinating" guys on my battles, with my lance and my horse (It doesn't even need much skill for it xD). I was wondering what kind of weapons have that option that lower the weapon and we only have to make it touch someone at high speed (no need to left click). I tried with longspears, it doesn't work. Only lances can do that?

I don't think this is a beta, Steam is already selling the game at full price, with Windows+Mac+Linux indication.

Hi guys,

I've been playing the linux version of this game during the weekend, since I heard it was ported to Linux. Single Player was working great on Ubuntu with open drivers.

However, now I can't keep playing. I didn't figure out why in the beggining, because this is a game I already owned... then I understood: The Warband copy I own (I have all M&Bs), I bought it at GamersGate, not Steam. I was playing the free weekend version.

I have migrated to Linux for some time now, it would be cool to have MB here.

Is there any chance we can have the Linux port in other distributors?

It feels unfair everyone is getting the Linux version just because they bought it on Steam. We - whoever bought it everywhere else - have paid too, we are your clients too

I wouldn't mind to pay a very small fee for getting the Linux version too. But I will not buy the game again. Even on sale. It just seems wrong.
