Sturgians are the Vaegirs. The Nords are still in Jutland. The factions are all cultural mashups of existing cultures anyway.
This was my first impression but nothing indicates that. Nords were invited by the empire (presumably when it was still a WHOLE empire) and they stayed. I am pretty sure Sturgians are in fact half nords and half vaegirs (Varcheg -> Wercheg). I doubt the empire would invite the battanians (if we believe they're nords) considering they are archers, ambushers and hit and run tacticians. Needless to say, it pisses me off beyond belief that so many years after the faction reveals we still do not have concrete information about the Sturgians and Battanians as in who the **** are they? My bet would be, in cannon, Battania and Sturgians somehow group up in the later years and then disband to Nords and Vaegir.
Or, Nords are in Bannerlord in the form of an invading group or bandits.
